Time to get answers from a developer

As to why to the PS3 version is half-assed. Of course they knew it was going to be a half-assed version or else the "exclusive DLC" for the PS3 would never happen.

I mean the PS3 has been out for about four years now and developers ARE STILL having problems developing games for the console? (Yes, I'm not a developer/programmer myself, but don't you think 3+ years working on a console is enough to at least get a hang of the components of how the PS3 works?) The worst part is that they expect PS3 only customers to buy the game thinking that they're a bunch of idiots buying the inferior version because it has "exclusive content".

PS3 only/PS3 preferred owners who shown interested in this game have the right to be pissed with the final product of a game for their console.

Thanks for adding fuel to the console war fire 2k. 360 fanboys are having a field day with this.

I agree. One of the devs needs to come on the board and answer questions. After the stunt they just pulled they owe the ps3 gamers at least that much.

I agree with this, 2k basically give us the short end of the stick yet they still expect us to buy it and come out with such coporate responses as "it's not a port, we optimised the game for each version" - if you ask me every game on ps3 that is supposed to have blood other than this one does, and most of them are inferior technology wise.

Dont even get me started on the "But you still have the full game" arguement or the "There is really cool PS3 exclusive DLC also" because we should have the similar game in the base respects, you know, grass and blood, not something as detailed as full DLC.

Please get a developer on here, not some corporate figure from 2k who twists the truth.

If you guys have actually played the PS3 version of Mafia 2 you would notice at the beggining of the demo, right after it rates its "rated m" 2K put in that The demo version graphics are only for the demo and will not be released in the full game. Dont belive me? Go turn on your playstation 3 and start up "MAFIA 2 DEMO" and see. Maybe there is hope? Maybe not. Either way its going to be a great game. Hope this helps.
