Low fps, how can this be + random crashes

    Hi guys,

I am new to this forum but I have been following it for a while now. I have a problem with the demo. First of all I can not get my fps above 30.

    Pc:

    AMD Phenom X4 940 (2,9mhz)
    ATI HD 4890
    6 GB DDR2 RAM
    Windows 7 x64

Phsyx is off, and I am benchmarking with 1920x1080 60Hz. AA off or on doesnt make such a differance in fps. Like I said, around 30. Is this normal? When I play COD MW2 is get around 80fps with the same resolution.

Btw, just tested playing on 1280x1024, not more then 45 fps. Something is not working well.

Second issue I have is that the demo randomly crashes, windows says there has been a problem but does not show what exactly. Then I need to reboot because a lot of programs do not work anymore. Anyone else got this?

    Thnx in advance!

What are you running the game on? High? Medium? Make sure you have the latest drivers installed. I'd say you should be able to run the game on at least medium.

I am playing on high. I installed the latest Catalyst Control Center, 10.7 so that is not the problem.
