Does any one know the Mafia 2 system requirements. I haven't looked so they might be out. I have a Core 2 duo 2.9ghz, 5gb ram, and a Foxconn 9600gt 512mb. Does anyone think it will work

get Steam and download the demo and then you can be 100percent sure.
but based on your CPU your easily within good ranges. even your video card is at least a little better than minimum spec.
i personally think you will have playable frame rates because it runs pretty well on my system and even though my video card is better than yours my CPU is quite a bit worse.

I think he's foreign. Yes it will most likely work fine on your computer.
The full game will use Steam too, even if you buy the retail version. Google around a bit and you'll probably find the issue.
Yes Mafia II works with Windows 7 64bit perfectly fine as that's what i have (home premium to be exact).
if your having issues with the game not loading the first thing i would do is update your video card drivers
get them from www.nvidia.com

Yeah, most likely easily. My friend has a 512MB card, 2GB of ram, and a duo 2.5ghz and can run a lot of high and some settings medium. I don't see why you couldn't run it well.

A low end Core 2 Duo and a 9600GT is roughly the cut off point for maximum settings (bar physx) @ 1280 x 1024 with a 30 frame minimum or so.
Anything better than that will kick booty on this title. Considering the consoles do 1280 x 720, hobble along without vsync averaging in the mid twenties and crashing regularly down to the teens then you should be really pleased with the PC performance of mafia 2

YES your card should work as it's better than the minimum requirements.
but if you want to be sure it will work GET STEAM AND TRY THE DEMO.
p.s. and as usual, update your video card drivers to the newest BEFORE you try the demo.

My hardware specs are:
Notebook: MSI EX623X
OS: Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core T3400 2,16 GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 9500M GS VRAM: 512 MB
RAM: 4 GB
As you can see, my CPU is under minimal hardware requirements, so will this game run on my pc at least at minimal visual settings smoothly?
Try da demo on steam, I think it will run but might be very laggy.
Video card is more critical than cpu.
