    The "real critical" reviews.

I've just thought of an advantage about being in the UK, some of us Euro's will not be getting the game until it's release on the 27th.

Now most of us enjoy reading the proffesional reviews, but some of us are also aware these can be tainted by things like game bias and the companies giving nice little gifts to sweeten things.

Since us Euro's have to wait an extra 3 days this forum is going to be an interesting read after the 24th, it will be the players giving their reviews, to me these will be the most critical reviews, no, not whether the game will be GOTY material, but whether those waiting will go ahead with their purchase or maybe cancel their special editions in favor of a standard edition.

After reading these forums over the last 48 hours, I'm looking forward to those personal reviews, because right now my enthusiasm is slightly down on what it was.

LOL all user reviews are bias. You will get alot of gta fans saying its crap even though they haven't got it. Just look at some of the uncharted 2 user reviews.

Of course they are, but they are many, and in there somewhere is middle ground, I learned a long time ago how to read between the lines and ignore the fanboys.

True but it lowers the score and makes the game look bad

That made me laugh, yes those will get me pulling my hair out, but I do not have too much of a problem with spoilers, I just do not want to know the finale, but I think someone already spoiled that.

If it's a good game, then I see no problem.

I will leave these forums when US gets the game and come back after I've gotten and completed the game, because some 10 year old will think it'll be fun to spoil the game by putting a spoiler in the thread title. Happened on the IGN RDR Boards but the 'spoiler' wasn't true but still... Hate those guys...

I'll be on this forum on the day of release to get everyones first impressions, I love it when things are released for america before europe because if it sucks the americans complain about it and you know not to waste your money.

So yes, runningbare, I agree with you.
