dont know, a lot, sometimes just run through the mission, sometimes just messing about... mostly trying different cars, annoying the cops & gang to see what happens

Geesh, and I thought I would be a freak for playing too long...

I think it all comes down to about 4-5 hours for me.
Once I played it for 3 hours straight...

i only have about 118minutes which is basically 2 hours...

...but i would have been MUCH higher had the game run well on my PC (it's pretty much not playable but it's basically due to my graphics card which just dont have the power to run it at a playable frame rate) as i am getting a new graphics card today which should hopefully cure my bad frame rate which it looks like it will based on what i seen of other people with similar setup's as me.

Not really sure how many times since I get myself killed before the timer expires so I can just start playing through the city again. I've already pretty much tried everything out. About to go find Eric's Apartment from the Frankie Pott's storyline my next playthrough. I've gone through the entire mission maybe 3 or 4 times so far. I do hope that the chapter is alot longer in the final game. I'm assuming there's still the chase if there is one, driving to the doctor's, and then there's probably something before driving to the distillery. I'm assuming the flashback sequence is just for the demo and that cutscene and driving to that location is probably in the game.

i get really excited when i first start but then it gets to about 4 minutes and i start to panic because i know that the game is going to be over soon. i'm not regretting downloading the demo, even though i had to upgrade to gold live membership to get it.
it has shown me that i will have an absolute blast with the full game when it finally comes and now when i need a little mafia fix i can play on it for an hour or so. it's nice to try on the different clothes and such. still haven't been able to do some of the things that people talk about being able to do..but i want to keep the experience as fresh as possible when i get the full game.
    -i realize i didn't answer the question of OP...about 6 times..done the mission maybe 4

I've played it through completely 3 times; but overall I've spent..... 21 hours on it. 9hrs Tuesday; 7 yesterday; 5 today. Maybe I can hold myself to 3 tommorow; 1 the next... Oh who the hell am I kidding.

You have to get the "package", the gun, too..
Also, I was thinking, the mission's in 1945. Doesn't Vito live with Joe/His mother at that time? I wonder how'd that work out then.

Tbh, I think I'm starting to get kind of bored with the demo lol. Like, every now and then I need a fix to play it, but after a couple playthroughs that last about 30 minutes each, I shut it off. I think I need a new game to hold me over until Mafia 2 comes out lol.

Well, they did say that the demo mission wasn't in the same format as the final game. That flashback being a case in point. Plus some recent footage shows the mission taking place in the winter, so... I'm assuming that it would take more data to implement the winter months with snowfall and such than it would with the sunny day they have in the demo. I think we can expect quite a few changes.

The devs have confirmed that the real mission is still in the 40s; and it's supposed to be (at least by e3 last year) on February 17th (day after Iwo Jima invasion) which was on the news. And I think that the real mission you have to get the MG42 from Harry; then drive there, then do what the demo has; and somehow escape and get the doctor's. BTW If you look at the map 'Highbrook' (where the doctor lives) is really far away so that portion should be long.
