When we get answer to this graphic problem? (PC)

Did you update your graphics driver?

Its mainly the problem.

Yes I did downloaded and installed properly the (ATI Radeon HD 4870 - 512mb) latest Catalyst driver (10.7)

ps. I'm adding this to the first post.

My PC hardware:
Core 2 Duo @ 3.0Ghz E8400
ATI Radeon HD 4870
Windows Vista 64 Ultimate

And then the problem:

Firstly, Mafia II PC (demo) doesn't show grass on the ground. Why?
This happens whether settings were low/high or activated/deactivated(like AA)

Secondly, it looks like graphics tries to draw something on the ground and in the whole space of Mafia II demo, this appears when big flowers are drawn on streets and on the ground. Also, I can see like blue/grey/brown lines upon the air, but usually those (spiking)lines are on the ground.

Lastly, all graphics aren't drawn, there's sometimes parts of street's drawn to one color, like brown.

lol I have almost your exact settings on my notebook and the game runs perfect. So it's your computer at fault here.

Lol, I'm quite envious of those giant flowers, dont know how you've got that, PC version worked fine for me, apart from some physx probs, they look very 60's though, 10 years too soon lol,

Have you tried to do a clean install of the driver? Uninstall it, wipe everything (use e.g. Driversweeper), then do a clean install of the driver?

Are you using third party tools like ATi Tray Tools or something similiar?

In case you have overclocked anything... Does the error disappear on setting default clocks?

Don't you realize that you are the only one with this problem? It's not 2k's problem, it's yours but anyway their support still sucks big time. You can try older versions of the driver to see which one works best. Does this happen in other games too? You should test your system on full load to see if everything runs ok.

I concur with everyone else. It's your machine. I ran the demo perfectly fine. Sometimes in upwards of 100FPS in some areas. Generally on average on 85FPS. Only issue was some shadows flickering when PhysX was turned on.

I had that same big line problem on my Old 60gb PS3. I think it’s a major problem with your graphic card.

Honestly dude, looks like graphics card or graphics driver problems. That's looks like "Artifacting" really...

I have the same problem, and it only occurs at Mafia 2 Demo (I Already buy the Retail Version, if the problem persist ir will be a problem).
My Video Card run at a nice temperature, around 40oC at Full and 35oC at Idle.
I have a HD4870 512Mb, i already try to install a old Catalyst with clean install, but the problem persist. i Try 10.7 (Newest), 10.6, 10.5, 10.4.
Any idea? I'm thinking about cancel my Pre Order and buy another game, from another producer.
