    Quick Fix For Screen Tearing

I have played the PS3 Demo and all the issues I have seen in it mimic those of the Xbox 360 version (I will test out the demo for 360 whenever it becomes available to those who don't have Gold).

I know for a fact in some Xbox 360 games (retail version) screen tearing is persistent when having the system set to run games at 1080p (Resident Evil 5, Ghostbusters etc.) and the best thing I have come across is changing the resolution to 720p. But since the game demo (at least the PS3 version) only runs at 720p you could try changing it to 480p and see what happens, it will be a lot blurrier but you can scratch one issue off the list. I have tried this with the PS3 Demo (running at 480p) and there is no screen tearing...I think it has something to do with scaling and V-sync I hope this helps someone, it's a very cool game no doubt just hope the issues get fixed for the retail version.

I'm sorry but who wants to play the game in 480p when they can play it in high definition 720p? The answer is no one. We should stop trying to kid ourselves and point to what really is to blame here - 2k themselves.

I agree, but it's just a quick solution for those who just want to try the demo (without the horrid screen tearing). I was looking forward to this demo for quite some time (and the game) and was shocked to find out how many issues it has. I have a feeling this faulty demo may leave a lot of potential buyers a bad taste in their mouth; which is sad considering the game looks awesome. Hopefully they fix all the issues to an extent (no game is perfect I think we can all agree on that one) for the final build.

It's up to the developers whether they use use vsync, if vsync was to be used it would mean a lower framerate than what is at the moment (and I'm sure looking at the PS3 demo comments just like my comments we wouldn't want that)...
