Is Nvidia getting desperate for people to spend money on graphic powerhouses to run console ports?

Now I'm not saying Mafia is JUST a console port but it turns out that with the fix that a post member has given us I can run the game with High PhysX at 40 frames + without the insulting recommended APEX specs, just a GTX 260. It really is quite sad but I guess there's not much else to say about it...

What does this have to do with Nvidia anyway, it was the developers that made the game simulate the cloth effects for all the characters without including an option to disable it.

yeah same here, besides have a dual core and a 9800GT graphics card on 1824 x 1022 resolution. I could only get 12 fps with medium phisx lol. But with the hint posted about this. I get 29 fps. I guess they tried to hard lol

I know I'm not the moderator, but there are like 10 threads about PhysX, all made after the release of the demo, surely this would have fit in somewhere.
