Protector Trials: Teaser Information (Spoilers within)

So, as we all know, the Protector trials have special teaser information in them about the up and coming Single player story-based DLC. So here's the place to post any cool teaser information you learn, and to discuss about it. As a note, you should probably keep any and all information learned in the DLC in spoiler tags.

I'll start it off with a little bit of info given to me by Ipom.
According to him, little brothers almost made it into BIoshock 2, but were canned. The picture of them looks really cool.

In one of the unlocks there's something about a place called Minerva's Den it says that It's home to Rapture Central Computing. It shows some pictures one of them is some scientist guy another is some woman who looks a little dirty with bent glasses and the last picture is of some strange weapon and the weapon looks like it could be used for Delta. I don't have the Deco Devolution book so I'm not sure if this is new or not.

That is awesome, Minerva's Den eh? Very interesting that we are apparently getting new splicer types. And the new weapon looks awesome!
Hopefully we will get some new plasmids and tonics too.

Judging by their looks, the two characters there are probably new splicer models - if you look closely in the left hand corner you can see names for them 'BUTTONS WIP' (there's actually a neat little joke that his lab coat has binary written all over it...) and 'HEADY COLOR.' Buttons being the computer scientist and Heady being the woman (receptionist is my guess). The weapon is actually a laser gun. I love 2K.

If 2K gives us a laser gun, I think I'll be permanently in love with them.

As for the reveal of Minerva's Den, it brings up the questions of who could we possibly be, why are we in the computing core of Rapture, and why do we have a laser gun? Also, I like the reference to the Roman Goddess of wisdom being the computing center. Very fitting.

Minerva's Den seems like it will be amazing. I'm really liking the new Splicers, and the new weapon. It seems to have a bit of a retro sci-fi vibe, which is different, but I'm liking it.

Have I mentioned how much I love you, 2K?

Indeed, it's very intriguing so far. On another site, someone discussed the possibility with some others about the idea that maybe this level (levels? Could they release more in 'episodes'?) might start a trend of individual survivors' stories; a "Tales of Rapture" sort of thing. It's impossible to speculate on the level's (series of DLCs'?) antagonist, but they have to be very powerful - if they're not working for Lamb (doubtful, but possible), they control everything that's still currently automated and running in the city. This gives them tremendous power to do whatever they want...

That's a very astute observation. I wonder what time period this is actually taking place in though. We don't have any era whatsoever. This could be some rebel group pre-Ryan's death, or some time after Delta's escape, or any time inbetween.

Woah, this is a brilliant idea, I would love to see this. Hopefully this is not the only story DLC that we end up seeing.

Did any of you guys get a message that you unlocked the new tonic for the next DLC?

I haven't gotten that, but I haven't finished all of the bonus trials yet, and I haven't gotten an A on all trials yet. Maybe you have to get all the achievements, or maybe they won't tell us at all, and we will only get it in the next DLC.

I've beaten everything and haven't gotten that I just need to get A's on everything.

Also, notice how the scientists has Binary written all over his lab coat!

The protector trials is a new DLC single player additional game mode.

Load BS2, goto Download content and dl the Protector DLC, then reload the game, goto Download content again and select the second option, Protector trials to play it
