17 years old, I'm legally allowed to purchase the game - It excites me.
The other poll made was a public poll that showed who voted for what. I thought people might be more comfortable voting on a poll where their age wasn't revealed publicly.

I remember that time well.Hell I get excited when I don't get carded for alcohol(which is rare). For the most part I don't get carded for games, and definitely not for movies.
Although there was this one time that annoyed me to hell. My girlfriend and I decided to go to the movies and it was like 2 months until I was 21. It's a Wednesday so the mall we went to was completely empty. We go to the ticket booth and ask for two adult tickets to a Rated R movie. The guy is like "Can I see ID?". Mind you we both look our age(she's 19). So I show him mine, and he's like "Can I see hers?" Of course she didn't have hers on her. So the guy becomes a total douche and wont let us in. We leave(with my girlfriend pissed off at the guy) and go to a mall about 5 minutes away, and get into the same movie we had wanted to see without a problem. We even asked the guy that we bought the tickets from if she seemed old enough to see it(who didn't ask for ID at all), and he said Yeah.

Because, in Italy, you only need to be 14 to see violent movies like Watchmen.
I'm pretty sure in the US it's 18. In the UK I think it's 16, but I could be wrong. I've never had trouble getting in to see something I wanted and I look 15 at the best of times. Sigh.

Honestly since it was nearly a year ago, I can't remember. I can remember that it was R rated, which means you need to be 17 or higher, or be with an adult over 21. We were obviously over 17, and I was 2 months from being 21.
Looking at the movies released in October of last year I think it was Law Abiding Citizen.

Since you seem really mature, and really obedient I have to assume 21+
In the US movies go by:
G and PG any age can get into
PG13 you need to be 13 or have an adult with you, they don't card at this age because most kids who go to the movies by themselves are usually 13.
R 17 or higher, or anyone under 17 needs to have someone over the age of 21 with them.
NC17 you have to be 17 or over to get in no matter what(but we do not have any theatrical releases with this rating)
Adult you have to be 18 or 21(depending on the state) We also do not have any major theatrical releases with this rating, but there are some theathers that shown pornographic material.
Video games:
E for everyone
T for teens
M for Mature, you need to be 17 or have someone 17 or older buy it for you
AO adults only, you need to be 18 or 21(depending on the states laws in reference to adult material)
18 enables people to join the military, get tobacco, buy porn, and own long arm fire arms such as shotguns and rifles. It's also the only age you can get a drivers license without having to first get a restricted license.
21 allows you to drink, rent hotel rooms, and own firearms.
This is a PRIME example of why I love this forum.

I would be glad to post a picture. but have none I can load. Been gaming since 1990. Paticularly when the first DOOM game came out and have been hooked ever since. No reason to lie to you. I have Played the first MAFIA game at least 5 - 6 times since. I am now retired and thoroughly enjoy gaming. How old are you (no lying now..) I'm am in awe of the young people who make these computer games, and I understand that today you can get degrees in this medium of entertainment. Sure would like to turn back the clock. I enjoy the artistry of the games, but particularly a very good storyline. MAFIA really was the first to capture that. I'm am really looking foward to MAFIA 2 and if it's any where near as good as the first it will be a nice early birthday present. I will be 62 this October. Yeah it's sometimes hit or miss for me. I love when they just give you the ticket and don't ask for your ID.
I didn't merge these threads and that's a totally unnecessary comment. I made a separate poll that was private so people didn't have to have people SEE their ages.
