Yeah I feel that way with the Rumbler too if they would have just made him more difficult to face I mean I could keep pace with him and hack the turrets and throw his rockets back at him I mean he should just do a bit more like launch the rocket's faster so you have to dodge some of them and can't just TK them all back at his face and instead of just throwing one turret he throws like 2 just to make it a bit harder .

I liked the design idea (as referenced in the earlier posted audio diary) for a BD that could be more easily mass produced and geared more towards conflict than a retooled utility or maintenance drone such as a Rosie.

That said though, I wasn't a fan of the design aesthetic. The helmet doesn't really work for me (the scattered positions of the viewports) and the shoulder cannon looks a little under-detailed, I dont know, could have possibly used a few more polygons in the design or some better higher-res textures.

He did get spammed in a lot of levels too... maybe that didn't help.

Cool idea, he was fun to fight, just doesn't look that great in my opinion...

Rosie is my favorite so I just had to quote you!

I don't care for the Rumbler myself, I can kill him with TK alone and the usual firepower, but I love the idea of expanding the Big Daddy family. I also don't like his aesthetic, I keep thinking he has a bucket on his head, and I wish he had more unique animations, but whatever. I also liked the original working title "Slo Pro" for some reason. However, if NECA made a Rumbler, I would be all over that... weird.

Though I do like the Rumbler, I feel bad that he's so easy to defeat, even on higher difficulties. I think he's more for an aesthetic appeal. And about the look, he was based off of one of Leonardo Da Vinci's concepts for a diving suit, so naturally the helmet is going to look different than a normal one.

I still like that he made it in the game though. When the GameTrailers footage was first shown, I nearly jumped out of my seat with excitement when I saw that he made it into the game.

Bottom line: I like him. Sorry you don't, topic maker.

as I said before,I like the Rumbler mysself....although I will NEVER understand how the Rumbler can se out his helmet...I mean, come on...a small center porthole with an EVEN SMALLER one under it,with 4 more SMALL portholes on the top, bottom, and sides of the helmet??

    Granted!

I like the design but i too struggle with the ergonomics of the helmets design, what about the vented mesh at the front where the two portholes are? it's like a tea bag!!!

Its a very Sci-fi approach to the vintage big daddy appeal!

Every other Protector is definitely of the jules vern persuasion of deep sea exploration but the Slo-Pro? well its different i'll give them that!

I was thinking that during the organ sealing process, their eyes were moved? I don't know. It's definitely an interesting question.

I know what you're getting at but i dont think that that necessarily follows or the Bouncer would look like a spider inside!!!

I like the Rumblers. They're not hard to fight and you get handy mini-turrets from them. Plus they look weirdly cuddly. I'd so give one a hug :3

I was cynical about them at first but they work in well with the story.

My only issue is how incredibly easy they are to defeat.

Telekinesis is all you need, seriously. Grab their missiles and throw them back, grab the mini turrets as they are thrown, throw them and they explode. Miss a turret? Grab the next missile and aim it at it when it's deployed.
