    The Darkness 2 In The Works At Digital Extremes

    OMG !!!.

    The CV of an Environment Artist has revealed multiple titles that are currently in development at Digital Extremes, one being Darkness 2.

    The information comes from the CV of Emmanuel Pappas - spotted by super sleuth SuperAnnuation - who has also worked under the watchful eye of EA Canada on FIFA titles, and Radical Entertainment, where he contributed to the development of Prototype. Pappas is now at Digital Extremes, after joining in January 2009.

    So what details are given off? Well, it states that Digital Extremes are currently developing something called "JarFly", as well as "Darkness 2" and an "Undisclosed title"

    As sequel to Starbreeze Studios' The Darkness has been rumoured to be in development for a couple of years now. The studio though, claimed that a sequel was most likely to be created at a different studio.

    Yuck. After my experience with Digital Extremes and Bioshock 2, I won't be buying this game now

    New developer can't be good. Oh well even if it sucks atleast I'll get to hear the epic voice acting from Mike Patton as The Darkness.

    This is good news, I wish some other dev picked it up though. I'll have to buy it as I'm a huge fan of the comic.

    off topic...TopCow is also planning on another game with one of their characters. Witchblade will grace consoles!

    About time. I have no problem with Digital Extremes (BIG Unreal Tournament fan here), and I've waited three long years to hear this! Honestly, they better release more information about this game so I'm not let down once again!

    I had heard good things about The Darkness on this Forum so I ended up getting a cheap used copy about a year and a half ago. I never read the comics or anything but I really enjoyed the game. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the sequel.

    Darkness was the most underated games, it's storyline was great the sound everthing, just hoping for more info on Darkness 2 soon.

    I just beat Dark Sector (Digital Extremes game) and loved the dark atmosphere for this game. You're saying those same guys can't do a Darkness 2? I think they might be able to do it better than Starbreeze!

    Problem is, The Darkness's ending leaves absolutely zero space for direct sequel. Jackie has been consumed by Darkness and is gone to hell. It's Bioshock 2 all over again.

    I liked digi extreme games i hope they do good with drakness II. cause i was waiting a long time for the sequal. i PISS MA SELF when
