ya i think your right i think they changed the form of currency from adam to money so if you buy anything its with money

I read that adam was at some point or another in game currency..and you use it to buy upgrades...so wouldn't it be safe to say its the money in game?

Correct adam you spent out as money you cant use as for an upgrade so you have to be careful with it.

well i didnt notice but i also dont think thats that bad it makes them even more like roaming boss battles just like in traditional games u need to beeet the boss to advance

Adam is no longer currency. It is now dollars. Alexx mentioned this in a previous thread.

Yes to the first, but no to the second. You have two choices when confronting an LS: Befriend her to get a little Adam, or harvest her to get it all. Either way you get some Adam.

It would be an interesting twist if the player were given the option to assume the role of the BD, to become the defender a LS who follows you and in return to gain access to the Adam she harvests. Hunted becomes the hunter, in other words.

no, in that case you would have to harvest to get any adam, however there is a plasmid (i think) that makes the little sister think ur the BD therefore "befriending" them

AFAIK Irrational still has the plasmid that allows the player to fool an LS into thinking they are a BD, so you're in luck on that.

You have to defeat the Big Daddy protector in order to gain access to the LS to make your harvest/not harvest decision.

that changed awhile ago, it did start off as Adam being found anywhere and everywhere, but that was at a time when Adam was the main currency of rapture, the main currency is now dollars while Adam is used exclusively for gene-modding purposes.
