This started out okay, but then you made it sound like the 360 gets one install, which is wrong. You can bring it to a friends house use that disc, and use it on a future system. Now imagine if you brought it to a friends house and then you couldn't play it anymore because you used the disc on another system. Or image that you could not use the disc on your 360 after a few times.

Also, imagine that if your 360 got a red ring you could not play teh game anymore because your dvd was tied to it.

This guy who made this up is dead wrong. This is the first game to do this type of content protection and it is hurting customers and game reviewers...

(arg no edit function) Correction: Imagine your system got a red ring and you got a new one. Then you could not play the game because the DVD was tied to your original xbox.

I actually agree with FactorX Here, but where I think the article (poem?) hits home is the exaggerated and vicious backlash from the PC gaming community threatening to overshadow the good press around this undeniably amazing game and scaring off other devs interested in PC projects.

I must admit I've yet to see a 360 user complain about the widescreen issue, and i can easily understand how a game company receiving such a response as this (even if they did screw up...) would shy away from PC games in the future. That's not something we want, especially when you consider what a terrific job Irrational (2k boston, whatever) has done in responding to all the mishaps (broken big daddy's(free replacments + artbook), insufficient soundtrack(Free orchestral score download), activation woes (+3 more activations), pov (sending a free gfx card to the guy who made an unofficial patch).

They're clearly trying to help and fix things, so the cries for their blood are probably a little unnerving and discouraging for them to here. Well you have my support guys, and my thanks.

That's because PC Gamers have higher standards, are more intelligent, and know what the ☺☺☺☺ they're talking about.

The average Xbox gamer doesn't even know what 'anisotropy' means.
