Having read the threads pertaining to the recurring problem I'm experiencing with Bioshock on Windows 7 x64, and doing everything they suggest to get the game to run correctly, the game still does not work the way it should. Some times the sound works but the game is running in a windowed mode and my windows taskbar is visible at the bottom of the screen, and about 2 inches of my desktop can be seen on the right hand side of the games window, my mouse is able to leave the game screen... obviously not how the game is supposed to work. At other times it runs in its full screen mode but the sound does not work after the intro. once or twice after playing with the compatability modes the game runs full screen with sound.... but the sound is choppy. I made absolutely sure to update all outdated drivers, especially the sound card. All i want to know is, is it possible to make a patch that will make this game compatable with Windows 7.... ive heard and read many great reviews on this game and would love to play it myself, without having to go out and buy an xbox. At this point in time the lack of working suggestions are getting to me and i'm likely to shelf the game..
