AS a Jewish person, I couldn't help but notice that alot of the characters have Jewish last names, such as Steinman, Tenenbaum, Cohen. Also, Ayn Rand was born a Jew. I can't help but think that this is convention is not an accident, but perhaps a nod to the tribe in your work. Is my premonition accurate ?
Well, if you think about it. Around that time, if you had a chance to get away from current world affairs from possibley re-occuring, I'd deffinatley take the chance!
The only one who I thought of as a jew from the start was Tenenbaum for obvious reasons (don't want to drop spoilers here). I have a strange process for coming up with names, and the other ones were sort of accidents. But I kinda like it.
