I realize that this is only tangentially related to Civilization V, but being a fan of photography myself, I thought some of you might enjoy this 2K Blog article from our Director of Marketing:

It's about how he created the headshots for this month's GamePro magazine article. His idea was to mimic the render of Washington in his photography.

Sid Meier doesn't need to force himself too much to show both goodness and violence in his eye. Especially goodness (like few people). I don't mean he seems a violent man for real at all, but he can make a good Civ leader in a picture. Maybe he shouldn't look melancholic or serious for that (well, George Washington does, so far, and i didn't see the magazine pics). But i'd ask him to try looking funny, scaring, "tender" and clever in the same time and... I bet he can!
