    Geyser traps only last 2 minutes

    I tried testing them by making a private match where I was in it by myself, and after 2 minutes, they would disappear. I'd assume it must work the same way in the regular multiplayer.

    Was everyone else aware of this? I haven't seen any mention of this anywhere.

    Yea i've had geyser traps do that to me all the time.

    Yep, and you can only have 3 of them alive at any one time (4 if you pack EVE saver, but not sure about this point).

    If you exceed the limit the 1st one you set goes away.

    Eve save makes no difference in the number of traps you can lay down, that's just coded in the game, Eve saver will just allow you to put down more per eve meter, they still won't stay passed 3.

    Since you brought up eve saver, without it, you can lay down 3 geysers and electrobolt 2 (unless they are close together) before running out, with eve saver, you can charge all three traps with EB in a single eve meter.

    I've had so many kills when someone walks into one of mine right after I die cause they stay there for a few seconds. It's lovely.

    And 2 min is plenty of time. I just thought I was limited to 2 geyser/bolt traps.... but now that I can put 3 down... amazing haha.

    Two minutes may not seem like enough in longer-timed game types such as Civil War, but technically that is a relatively large amount of time in round-based games such as Capture the Sister. It's all about perspective...

    Actually, they do not go away when you die. if you visit your load out screen when dead (even if you do not change loadouts) that's when they go away, if you just wait to respawn or cycle through the kill cam, they will stay.

    Is that a fact? That's the first time I've ever heard that Eve Saver allows you to keep an extra Geyser Trap active...nice tip!

    Another thing that confuses me about Geysers is whether or not they stay operational once you die? Sometimes it seems like they do indeed stick around but other times it appears that they vanish from the playing field as soon as I do.

    So I still haven't been able to categorically ascertain whether death extinguishes Geyser Traps or not...anyone know?

    Another question, once the Big Daddy dies, does it's laid proximity mines vanish, or stay?

    Well... not really. They stay until you spawn. So WHILE your dying, they stay, but once you actually spawn. Then they vanish.
