bioshock crc error

Hey guys I'm having an issue that I see keeps coming up on multiple google searches, yet no one has an answer for it. Whenever I try to install bioshock on my pc (built 2 days ago), I get:


CRC error: The file C:\Program Files (x86)\2K
Games\Bioshock\Content\BinkMovies\attractMovie.bik doesn't match the file in
the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.

This occurs for multiple files including most of the fsb files. Why is this so? I am running windows 7 x64 home prem. on my new pc. The game installs just fine on my windows vista laptop so I'm sure it isn't the disk that's broken. Any help would be appreciated.
