All it says is that the MP beta will be 360 exclusive for the summer. It may go to other systems later on (an assumption on my part). Still, it's looking great. I'm looking forwards to trying it out.

Fact is PS3 is the hardest to program for, but an X360 exclusive beta doesn't signify an inferior version since CoD4:MW had an X360 exclusive beta and the PS3 version stood toe-to-toe.

By soon she means soon. Judging by the last two release scheduals (BS2 and M2) I would hazard a guess that we'll see something more concrete just before M2 comes out. If I'm judging right, Spec Ops may be rearing its head first, probably in the spring (a la BS2) followed by XCOM in the summer/fall, just based on their announcement dates. Watch it be reversed and me called a liar though. That will be juuuuust how it goes xD

run great and look great my a**, Bioshock is glitchy, slow texture loading times, etc, same with Bio 2. I love the games but its obvious Ps3 hardware wasnt overly considered in said ports. They both suffered in their transition, Id like to see a Ps3 copy made then ported to Xbox, like the way Vanquish is being done.
LOL, i have every 2k game made for the ps3 and i have had 0 problems, i dont see framerate problems at all ... maybe its your ps3? because i had an issue like that when i had an 60 gig ps3 after i upgraded to the ps3 slim that issue disappeared.
Ive seen multiple Ps3's play it. Its not aweful but you can see them if you look.
If they do not give PS3 owners a beta.. Well 2K, i am not even going to want this game at all.. Thats just utter BS no beta for the PS3.. Yes its harder to program for so what its the better console.. You have a Bluray drive and cell to work with.. That DVD9 player can only offer so much before it RRoD on you.. keep on holding technology back by making games for the Xbox360.. its funny how xbox has all these games and they're glitchy as heck.. Red Dead Redemption lol.. The amount of clipping and glitches on the PS3 port is enough to make you hurl.. i mean dead bodies returning fire after you kill the AI.. What a joke..

Yeah I know. Ive mellowed from my old sony fanboy rages but WTF? If your making a game for all consoles use the f*****g technology we have! Im tired of getting s****y a** ports. At least Sony exclusives run smoothly and look great. Look all im saying is at absolute least make said port run as well and look as good as its original did on Xbox. PLEASE.

No Im considering to stop buying s****y a** ports. I want fair treatment. Exclusive is understandable, Ps3 got Bio 1 challenge rooms, Xbox is obviously allowed Exclusives as well. From my understanding, it is a closed beta ATM just for those lucky beggers at E3. It's nothing to be too panicked over yet. Liz herself mentioned something about a proper beta at a later date. I don't think Spec Ops will be arriving before next year's E3, so freaking out over it is jumping the gun a little.
Also, guys, please be civil. We all love games and we all have complaints, but that doesn't mean we can't voice them calmly, eh?

Yeah sorry guess I got a bit off topic and ranty. Im just tired of video game companies not pouring themselves fully into a game like they should. It seems VGC now only care about pumping out more sequals, not making masterpieces.
Anyways back on topic- No one should freak out like Codex said Ps3 owners may still get a beta. But even if we dont its understandable, everyones entitled to their own exclusives even if I find an exclusive beta kinda odd...

I have to agree I would too, especially if it is supposed to be multi-platform (and by multip's I mean microsoft and sony... let's throw in nintendo as well to make Wii feel better too...). Still, I don't think we're going to see this game on the shelves before E3 next year. Even though that is speculation on my part, I do hope that there is enough effort put in the the PS3 stuff. As a 360 gamer myself, I haven't had to experience that frustration yet. I probably will eventually, and I do somewhat whenever an exclusive like Heavy Rain comes out.
Here's to hoping SO:TL will look just as amazing on both systems, eh?

Which makes the 360 exclusive beta even worse, because then the PS3 version won't be tested in the open, so it could be buggy when it's released. But I'll trust 2K and Jager with this. (At least for now!
