Well I havnt played Bioshock yet - I kinda knew it would'nt be as scary as System Shock what with Paddy O'Shea yapping on to ya over the intercom, so im not too pushed to get it. When I ask my friends (Irish) about Bioshock though, the first thing they put down is that bloody accent.
Now Im not saying I dont like the accent, I know people who speak like that - but there is a time and place for everything.
How much did Shodan's speech patterns contribute to how scary SS2 was? A LOT! What does an Irish accent contribute to bioshock? Among Irish people (like people in Ireland) the answer seems to be ridicule.
