People do it so that the door opens quicker. I believe it is to fight door lag, becuase I have run up to doors that don't open right away and then its suddenly open and an enemy is already unloading into you.
I personally don't zap doors too often, I find it a waste of eve. I do love to freeze them shut though on certain maps and matches.

Hi Fish, at first when I read your message I thought you meant attack with my plasmid as opposed to reloading my CB, but now I see that you are saying if I switch plasmids it skips the reload time of the CB?Hey Cracking, first of all, I've gotta say, I was kind of surprised seeing how much better you kind of aimed, as in previous vids, I would cringe at moments where you unloaded everything onto an enemy truthfully, haha. Also, I think you should try to skip the reload time of the CB by switching plasmids, etc. once the ammo count indicates the change, it's helped me out plenty.
I will have to give that a try tonight. I don't know if that works on the X-box...
Basically what Zealous said. Also, I like to see my enemies from long distance if possible and having the door open already prevents possibly a close encounter when I pass through the door.

Great Videos man, that looked like a fun civil war and survival. It's good to see you used something else as your secondary and finally ditched the grenades. I was in a party with that codemned 8 and he is hilarious, he speaks like no english and yells "I am strong!!" with a thick Italian accent every time he gets a head shot.

Yeah, it was fun playing with you also, next time I get the bd suit. So, you are using cb with no attachments? I thought you were a rof cb player.
I don't always use the gl as my secondary, but its nice to have for certain modes and it is a good backup for when out of eve and for res kills. Are you still using gl as your secondary?
Thanks. I rather use the pistol with ammo cap than the shotgun. What attachment are you using on your shotgun? It seems that the shotgun will usually win in a very close combat compared to the pistol.hey nice vids man! keep'em comin

I haven't used RoF for a long time now, haha. I've been using my current loadout for months and months, but yeah, I kind of miss my RoF days.
I have a W/L ratio of 115.0 or so on the 360, and after I lose my win-streak, I'll try out the RoF again.
No I had stopped a long time ago, I now use the elephant gun slug capacity for some no plasmid head shotting, but there are games when I will put the tube back on when everybody is using resurrection and/or spamming it especially if the rez people are suiciding
No plasmid headshotting..interesting. You should record some matches doing that. I dislike those rez suiciders also just about as much as those players that send hatemail when they lose against me. Some people can be such sore losers.
I noticed a few players from PS3 coming over to play us on X-box...funny, since I always thought it would be me buying a Playstation to try it out.

hehe, yea that's Rybow... always has a way of making me feel like I never played the game before, and I've never seen him with a loadout he couldn't handle.

I love the part about 3 mins in where you try to chase Rybow down and he gives you the slip then gets ya from behind ;P

Why do all the remaining xbox players hate each other? Guys its just a game, A great one at that! Dmac Your a great headshotter and where always great competition, but when I played against you, you where a heavy grenade user. Sadly I havent gotten to play with you recently so I cant say if its changed. Ted Hanson I ran into you several times today using grenades like it was your job. It was incredible how many nades where flying at once along with you suiciding almost every chance you got. Neither of you should be getting this angry with each other, You've both used grenades and both suicided. Just Have fun playing this game. If you're playing competitively, I hate to break it too you but this really ISN'T the game for you. This is a casual game, everyone playing it is playing to enjoy themselves.

You are very right Rowan, it is just a game and as I said I took it too far, so I do apologize to him for that. I was actually able to have a lot of fun last night in a private match with all friends, no stun headshots ran rampant in dionysis. On the side note, I have stopped using the grenade launcher and have had a hard time adjusting at how to clean up rezzers, but am getting better at it. We must change that we haven't played each other in so long, and I am anxiously awaiting your videos!

That was a headshot, but its bioshocks law we're talking about here, so it wasn't...
I liked the video. I feel the same way about alot of my deaths but bioshock tends to do what it pleases so I just leave it go.
It typically has to deal with host connection, if the connection was better then perhaps it would have been a headshot
same thing happens to me a lot, moreso with the crossbow than the ele gun it seems.
