Ugh. Nevermind then, to heck with it, I'll upload them without sound period lol.
Blane if you could only hear me when I play. I can make a sailor blush with my foul language.
I'm trying to work on my lag montage but Windows 7 Live Movie Maker is garbage so I downloaded Windows Vista's version (2.6) and wouldn't ya know, it doesn't run properly on Windows 7 -_- so it keeps freezing every time I make an adjustment. Sigh this is going to take a while...
EDIT: Scratch that. It won't work at all. I'm just gunna have to install my friend's Vegas Platinum so I can edit vids.

Wellllll, it would seem somebody is a bitter coward. Whoever you are, I'm not mad that you voted my videos down, I'm mad because you left no reason or explanation as to why. I don't expect everyone to like my videos or even myself, but I usually assume there would be a reason. Especially if you take the time to vote them down AS SOON as I post them, not to here, but to youtube which shows me that you can dislike my videos, but you're obviously an immense fan who is aching to keep up with my every post. Thank you![]()
Like my PSN comment states. I have love for all the hate. If you don't have haters, you're not killing enough people ^.^
I'm sorry to hear it happened to someone else, but at least I know now that I'm not personally being targeted. The part that really got me was I began to upload my videos later in the evening and went to bed, only to wake up to negative ratings before I could even post the links HERE or edit the info LOL.
The internet, allowing keyboard warriors and trolls to maintain anonymity, because if they didn't have that screen between them and us, they wouldn't have the gallNot that I would personally be able to/would do anything, other than point out their obvious and blatant ignorance, but I'm sure I would enjoy it none the less.

*sigh* It's not like I'm even bragging or play perfect, I make idiotic mistakes here and there, and like everyone else I play just to have fun.
Those are some nice video's Blane. I'm glad you won the Fort Frolic match despite all the box spam and nade spam.
Thank you xen.. It aggravates me to no end sometimes, even brings out the hateful part of me, but I attempt to stick it out those matches most of the timebecause if/when I win, I know I didn't need a crutch to do it

Sometimes floating bolts even act as a physical obstacle, and you need to go around them, heh.
Phly your my nade using hero![]()
LawnChair=Launcher. From what I can tell it means sitting back and spamming grenades like in a lawn chair. Get it. I miss my Can Launcher. I used it some this last night (Now I realized why I was getting t-bagged and all). I still haven't had all that much success with GL head shots using the velocity boost. Perhaps I should take that road again and work on becoming a nade king.

Hi! I’m thinking of uploading a few games using my 3 current loadouts. First out, playing against some poor newbies with my slugger loadout (Crossbow ROF, Shotgun ROF, AD, winter, fast feet, leg up, slugger). I’ve called this one..
“The Rapture Frying Pan Massacre”.
Enjoy and plz comment!

Phly, AD'ing into someone and running to their sides is more effective when Back Stabbin'. Mostly due to odd Hit detect stunned players have.
Thanks!
Graphics are at medium settings with some features turned off. I have an old machine, and lowering the settings makes the game flow a bit better, at least I imagine so. Thats all the more important when capturing video, cause it really taxes the system, making it a bit difficult to play (lower framerate etc). The added bonus of insect swarm not really working on me with medium graphics, doesnt hurt either!
I know where you are coming from; I had enough trouble with that myself while recording..Luckily Ill get a new PC when I get back to Germany (in 4 days), that should easily be able to record stuff with decent fps. Also I recommend you to use xfire for recording (If you arent already; I recall remembering you wrote that you record with fraps somewhere); it reduces fps a lot less.
Thanks for the tip! I might try that.

Barebones, hardcore challenge~ Episode 1 + 2.
No aim assist, no stuns and no tonics. Good scope footage as well. The camera quality is bad but whatever.

On a side note. Can anyone give me a great explanation to how HDPVR's and the like work? I have no idea where to look or where to start.

@Phly
If we disregard boxspam, I personally think that rof shotty secondary is better for no stun play compared to the sawed-off shotgun secondary because it can deliver those 2 shots that you need to kill faster.
I can see the logic in you choosing sawed-off though. 80 dmg meatshot can combine with an uncharged fire, EG body shot or melee to kill someone. It's just that, from my experience with no stun play, you have AD out as your primary for the most part so your secondary plasmid won't be used in conjunction with your secondary weapon that much.
As for EG+shotty, I find that whenever I miss with the EG while going for a headshot, I miss to the left or right as opposed to up or down. So, it's rare for me to get a headshot miss and a bodyshot consolation instead - at least up close wherein the shotgun can be pulled out as a finisher.
As for shotty+melee, it's too situational for my tastes. An enemy in the ideal range of the shotgun might not necessarily be in melee range afterall.
My 2 cents.
@Gamma
Cute game. It brings a smile to my face whenever I see someone on the PC actually trying another loadout other than eb+headshot, GL primary, Tk+shotty.
A little sneaking tip for you: Visualize your enemy's fov so that you can know where he is looking at. (Unlike real life, the head is not the indicator for where he looks, it's his shoulders) You have a couple of tools to avoid his line of sight: cover, legup, houdini or just visualize his fov as a cone and then linger in his blind spot. Bioshock 2 is notorious for having a really small fov and the weapon models (most weapon models block your right peripheral vision especially during the recoil animation) can't be turned off so you can actually obscure yourself a little bit behind them if you come from the left.
Abuse high ground/low ground. Make them guess where you are gonna come from. Mix it up, Don't use the same spots again and again.
Learn to cut corners when moving around maps. Fast feet's speed bonus isn't good enough for you to close in on a guy when you're stalking him from behind.
And just recognize that sometimes, the stars just won't line up for you and you will be faced with lag, a tough team, ☺☺☺☺ty teammates who won't take the heat off of you, a crappy map for a slugger playstyle or all of the above. So just take it easy and have fun with it. Good Luck!
Was just watching some of the LarsDK video series. Have to admit it was a bit of a Trip seeing someone I thought was a Mega good player with huge Balls leaving game after game when he took a few deaths. Some players you have respect for because you think they have it all together, then you find out they really aren't too different from anyone else and it's sort of disappointing.
There are a couple different kinds. Mine is a Hauppauge 1212, that I got off ebay. You can probably find one new for around $200. It only has component inputs and outputs, no HDMI. This hooks up to you computer though USB and should come with software that does the capturing. You can find more info here...http://www.amazon.com/Hauppauge-1212.../dp/B0018LX0DY.
Thank you for the constructive tips. But, yes I actually do know the merits of Rate of Fire upgrades. (I actually have the first loadout set to EG (Slug capacity) + Shotgun (Rate of fire)). The loadout was for minimal use of cleaning up (as well as balance with weapon upgrades, it's just my finickiness of having different looking loadouts).
I was going for mostly headshots, in the hopes of improving natural aim. So to speak, my aim, was strictly aim, and that cleaning up wasn't necessarily a priority. The no auto aim is actually a pronounced restraint, considering the clumsy use of thumbsticks for aim and tracking opponents. The slight magnetic cling from the auto aim helps considerable. Less effort needed to "aim".
Thanks for the information, seems like a steep price though.
Hey Fluvie, thanks for the tips. I already do, or try to do, many of those things, but not as conciously as you write it out. Man, I never thought about the weapon graphics, so that it is better to come from the player’s right side. Good idea. The same with the “cone” thing. I always assumed that when I see them from the side, they can see me. I’ve been trying go in their blind spots more and trust that they don’t see me when I do. It’s fun.
It helps to visualize the players screen. I'd also like to note that it is actually very easy to sneak, up on anyone with default sensitivities (at least for consoles). It also helps if you have a good sense of the startup, cool down, length (and duration) of the melee hitbox. I have gotten it to the point where I can pretty much wind it up from a single button press and hold, with maximum efficiency. Most people are already dead before they could react to a surprise slugger mid wind up. I also looooove to see people panic. I always hold it up for all to see and expect them to back up. It's even more amusing to watch as I dodge all their attacks (notably stuns) by tricking their Auto aim dependent aim. I can play without even firing a gunshot!
That is one of the reason I like you on My Team
The funny thing is when I'm against you Phly. You always want to slugger me. Yes, you killed me with weapons but it seems to me that I'm a slugger target
Still I found it odd that I was able to consistently kill you with the bee's and pistol loadout I ran months ago.
I've been using those tips you gave me. If you couldn't tell. I felt that I actually did good today. I had to force myself to not jump into the crowd and start shooting. My loadouts are max 3 enemies. Two are the comfort zone. Spawn trapping is godly with it.
I want to see more crossbow rate of fire videos. The massive amount of head shot video's is getting monotonous. That and good grenade launcher video. Not the normal low level spam fest either.
