As like last time I'm posting in this thread since he started it.
Hey everyone - once again this is not Ry, but his friend Craig. (might know from his Bioshock vids) - I'm here with another update on Ry, but its basically the same news as before. Still in crit condition at the hospital from alcohol-related problems due to personal happenings beforehand.

I made this short video for him and others to just keep him in your thoughts. Itd mean a lot if you could at least watch it or keep him in your prayers if you're into that sort of thing. Here's the link.

Oh no, that's terrible! Rybow is a great guy, he's one of the best players here and yet so humble about it and always willing to lend a noob a helping hand and a warm welcome. Ugh this makes me so sad to read this, he is most def in my thoughts and prayers.

Please, does anyone know where the original post about Rybow is, I can't find it in this thread . This is the first time I'm reading about this

For the folks who still care, here is a new match. I don't know if any slugger matches have been posted, but I use slugger all throughout this match, no shooting at all. Unfortunately its against noobs. checkout the ammo capacity of the guys shotgun at the 5:45 mark, funny. Enjoy!

Lol that was NOT a great game considering the score was like 50-42... or the next game where I had 38... and we only won by 3, why I hate IYP.

Ah I thought that was rate of fire CB, I was wondering why the shots were coming quick but not in one continuous burst like ROF. I haven't seen much box spam on the Xbox (thankfully!) so I guess I didn't know what to look for.

Easiest way to tell is by the sound of the shot (sounds kinda like "krash" rather than "ssip") and death in 2 hits rather than 3, if you see the player, they will be doing a kind of "reload" animation between shots where the RoF does nothing.

Anyone who wins using it isn't actually a winner, IF you know what I mean

Oh mannn, now I think I've played against a few boxspammers, I just never wanted to believe it was that prevalent on the 360. I thought we were better than that, but I suppose when there's something in a game that will give you an edge, whether it be an exploit or not, people are going to take advantage of it.

That would be like saying were better than suiciding or boosting. To my knowledge I'm the only player that does it in game. And even so I took dmg increase off of my loadouts. It's mire a habit now than anything.

And host always matters in 1v1s I don't care if I was box spamming. If I'd have stun headshotted it wouldn't have even been that close.

True, it was a 1v1 match. It just seems you have the skills to not even have to go there, I thought that's what set the 360 apart from the pack. But if you're comfortable with it, that's all that matters. I'm glad to hear it's not as prevalent as I had thought, I just never knew what to look for but I have seen people mucking with their crossbow in between shots. I just thought they had damage increase active and were reloading. But their shots seemed too fast now that I think about it.

I'm posting this here as this is a thread he created. This is not Rybow, but I'm using his account as I never made one here. My names Craig and I'm Ry's good friend. (I'll refer to him as Ry, as I feel weird calling him Rybow all the time) You may have heard of me from some of his videos under the name C-Raiggae. I'm posting on here on his account as I have some news that some of you might want to hear about. It's late and I'm currently at the hospital with Ry's family and friends. As of just a few hours ago, Ry has not been responsive mentally from problems related to drinking.

Hes been drinking excessively for a few months now since certain personal things occured with him, and I posted this because Im sitting in the waiting room only thinking about whats going on, and I thought it'd be a good idea to let people know on here who might also care for him. I know this isn't the best place to post this, but I rarely look at these forums and I dont know the complete rules of how to do this.

It isn't looking real great for him right now so hopefuly he'll be in your thoughts. I'll update as more is known. And no, this is not a practical joke

That statement is incorrect then. Retaliation with the same tactic qualifies as using it. It's more correct not to say "I don't Box Spam". It is more correct to say "I hardly box spam", or "I only box spam upon retaliation". or "I don't Box Spam unless provoked".

People do not realize that if you don't appreciate such tactics (like GL abuse) It shouldn't be done by retaliation or getting even. It just looks like an act of hypocrisy. Hate GL spam? Don't ever equip the grenade Launcher. Hate Rez? Don't use it then. Hate box spamming? Then don't map your controls based on it. Lead by example or don't complain. He who has never sinned may cast the first stone.

here a example of how pathetic some BS's are:

the most funny thing ever was that somebody wish I consider a real pro (aldo he usually box spams )
fighted against me and didt box spam the entire match
after I got defeated by him I said: first real GG its great to not see u BS
he answered you say it as if I need it to win i dont need to BS
the next match we faced eachother we where both full health I had EB/vanillaCB and he had EB/damageCB
we both zapped eachother and missed or first headshot and landed a botty shot.
I then zapped him to kill him with vanilla CB shot, only to get killed by him shooting with CB.
now there is no way he could have shot with damage sooner then I would have with vannila,
since damage normally reloads slow. meaning> HE BS ME SECONDS AFTER HE STATED THAT HE DIDNT NEEDED IT
HAHAHHA it was so funny xD

wel this is true I BS for 2 weeks and i got pretty good with it
I was able to defeat a army of 4 people within seconds wich felt great
so I understand why people BS its fun to be so overpowered but I stopped doing ti when somebody said:
"Im shocked to see U BS you really dont need it since you are very skilled"

wich is true I dont need it and everybody els who uses it needs it and is a loser in my eyes
no matter how skilled they are or how nice they hate to fight fair against a other skilled player wich makes htem a loser

People can box spam if they want to, its really not that bad or annoying. Any good player can easily combat it.

Its a choice of preference. Box spamming is just another technique used by players.
I don't think its right to criticize box spamming, calling it cheap and unfair because anytime someone comes up with a new idea of how to utilize a weapon there are always haters.

The only time in which box spamming is cheap is when two people are trying to no stun each other.

Other than that i personally could care less if someone box spams its not going to effect the outcome of the game for me more so than if someone was using EB/CB

Yeah, amazing enough it's workable.

Also that strange headshot that didn't connect at point blank range gave me a good laugh.
Good footage overall, although, TK is always overkill on the newbies xP
