Ever go from doing really good to really bad all of a sudden?

I was doing about 3/3.5 to 1 in kills vs deaths then all of sudden i start doing 2 to 1 then 1 to 1's all in about 1-2 matches. Teams didn't change much or anything.

A lot of it probably has to do with I've been going more for headshots recently and it's getting sort of late so it was probably my reaction time going down tonight but i won't deny this same thing happening in the middle of the day before.

Anyways, has something similar ever happened to you?

If I told you, I'd have to kill you.

    Yes.

In one match, I'm doing great. But in the next match, I can't get a kill to save my life.

who else has it happen in the same match? I'll start off like 12-2 and then die 5 times in a row without a kill :/

I play badly when I start playing on a different T.V, like if I take my 360 downstairs and hook it up to my 42" then the first 10 mins i play horrible.

It's the other way around for me... I start off at around 10-8, then I get warmed up and the coffee kicks in and I am around 20-10... You guys are probably playing against people like me who take a bit to warm up, but I find the skill level of the general community is starting to rise so it is becoming more and more difficult to have a one sided match (much more fun though).

When I was playing the developers on the weekend, I went into butt-kicking mode and started getting Crossbow headshots where they were never seen before

Not for me, I usually start out kind of horrible but then I get better as I keep playing.

I usually do this as well. I'll start with at least a 1:1 k/d ratio then work up to about a 3:1. Its just random when it plummets out of nowhere in a match

it usually happens to me. :3

i'll either start at really good, then become deadweight.

or deadweight, then just awesomely awesome.

Ever thought you might be good at one map and bad on another? That's probably the reason for your fluctuating scores.

when i first started using the Electro Bolt Xbow with no upgrade i was getting kills like there was no limited on the board but now i suck at the loadout and i barely ever use it.
Went from geting 20-3 to 12-7.

    That's everyday for me. =\
I don't know why, probably depends on who I'm playing against.
