    Still no Helmet HUD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me !!! After 3 months you guys still did not fix the disappearing Helmet. My god how incompetent can you be. I should buy you "Coding for Dummies" .
I'm not a programing wiz, but how hard can it be to fix this. Just admit you are not capable of doing it, and ask the community for help.
If you are a programmer for 2K and have Bioshock 2 on your resume I feel very sorry for you.

could you be complaining about something less important?

^^^ Maybe I should consult with you next time on what is considered important
It's important to me and that's enough. Why put a HUD option in the game menu if it's pointless.

Hey, Bond69, who died and made you arbiter of what is important? The HUD stretching - which has ALSO not been fixed - is a very important issue to me. Just because it's not an important issue to you doesn't mean it's not important, or that what you consider important is actually more important than the helmet HUD issue.

Not to mention, I'll post for the fourth or fifth time now, that they advertised the HUD would look EXACTLY THE SAME ON ALL RESOLUTIONS before the game even came out. This article was published on January 29th:

    http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture...2pcmegafeature

How did you deal with widescreen? How will someone on a regular monitor and a widescreen monitor see the game?

We support single-screen 4:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions. The game has been optimized to ensure that all game elements such as menus, HUD, UI, etc appear exactly the same regardless of what resolution the user is running the game at. The only major difference for 4:3 and 5:4 users will be the smaller Field of View compared to a widescreen resolution.
(Bolding mine.) This paragraph in article - published BEFORE the game came out - is literally and provably untrue. Beyond the actual issue with the helmet HUD disappearing, I consider this a rather important issue considering the actual game has never matched the explicit statement given above.

So in lieu of responding to you the way I would really like to, I'll just ask you to kindly be quiet if an issue isn't important to you. None of us care what you think is important or not important. A bug is a bug and people have a right to elevate these bugs as they see fit.

    Hey guys,

I'll check into this to see what's going on. In the mean time, if you can refrain from insults when posting problems, that would make things a little more awesome around here.

    Thanks.

My intention was not to insult anyone, but you must understand that there is only so much frustration I can endure. I saw the patch notes and assumed that this would be fixed. The bug is still there. Someone messed up and that is unacceptable from a professional company like 2K.

You're right "this is unacceptable from a professional company", not for 2k

For those of you with the no helmet HUD issue, have you tried doing a complete uninstall --> reinstall? Hitting the 'uninstall' button is not enough. You have to go into C:\Users\Documents and delete the Bioshock 2 folder, and go into C:\Users\AppData\Roaming and delete the Bioshock 2 folder there.

you could at least tell them that they're deleting their saves by deleting the bs2 folder in the documents folder. also, they don't have to delete that folder considering that all that's in it is their saves, not any game assets.

and if they're going to delete the folder in appdata, they ought to grab their user.ini out if they have custom configs for cheats/custom keybindings, unless they feel like re-adding all the cheats, etc.

I also cant understand this - dudes from 2K are able to create stunning visuals and graphics (3d programming always scares me ), but cant fix simple bugs like plasmid order or HUD disapperearing. Sounds like fixing/adding some <if>s to me (i am programmer myself).
