    Pride!

    Hi guys

Sorry not trying to sound condescending but i look in on this thread from time time as due to recent circumstances haven't had the time or finances to be able create much else of late and post it here.

I see what you guys are posting and am soooooooo chuffed to see it still being filled with talent and are keeping my thread alive for all to see, while there are the enthusiasts like us still making these things and the people appreciating them then Bioshock will never die.

So many games are just dust harbors on shelves by now and glad to see the BS story still alive in peoples hearts.

Keep up the good work guys!

I still need to work on the label more, remove the pixellyness from around the writing, sort out the blurryness, adjust the lines and anything else it needs done. Once i've finished that and remade it i will post a new pic of it

Seeing as I've dug this thread back up, I would like some input from my fellow Rapturians!

I currently have some more custom figures under construction, namely Andrew Ryan, a Rumbler and Subject Sigma!

It is the latter I'd like some input with, what the hell colour would I do him? we all know Delta's bronze/copper with yellow faceplate, Omega is Silver & blue-ish with an orange faceplate but does anyone have any idea if Sigma had a distinguishing colour?

If he didn't then has anyone got any good ideas (sensibly :-)) of colour combination for him?

Hmmmmm, the Eleanor looks just like the two I made last year!
His Sigma looks quite similar to Omega just with a yellow faceplate!

Ok thanks for the links guys, I'll post pics of my 3 projects when they're finished!!

    Hi guys,

This is just to plonk some up to date stuff here as this is what the Thread was intended for.

Please feel free to comment with constructive criticism by all means but please note it is still WIP and there is plenty of fine detailing to be done!!

    Hey Lilpippi!

Long time no see, how's you hun?

Well i'm just posting a couple of new pics as i've literally just finished him, his face detail, pocket-chief, buttons and tie!

    http://i1018.photobucket.com/albums/...e/IMG_0514.jpg

    http://i1018.photobucket.com/albums/...e/IMG_0515.jpg

    What do you think?

I also have a Rumbler 75% Completed, a turret under early stages and i'm going to start a Dr. Steinman too!

How's your collection going? Have you got an unmasked Eleanor yrt or have you gone off the Bioshock thing a bit now?

Oh bleeding hell, I typed out a whole message and it lost it. GRR!
    Try again ...

    Heyyyy!

I'm great thanks, how are you doing?

Ohh that is awesome !! And I cannot wait to see those other three, i'd love a turret XD

I've added an EVE hypo to mine. Don't think i'll get Eleanor though, don't like how they've just stuck a head on the old body and i'd never have the skills to create my own canon one.

And I definitely haven't gone off it, I find myself in MP Rapture every week, love it too much. And I recently bought a diver's helmet necklace and named it Subject Gamma :P (although no one I know would get the connection :P)

    Snap!!

I got a dive helmet keyring and called it subject "Gamma" =)

Yeah i'm not too bad thanks, plenty busy but as soon as i get home from work all i want to do is get sculpting on my figures!

Shame you're on the 360 as i play in the MP's on PS3 all the time, be fun to run the Parasites out of town along side you!!

Well i'm going to convert my Unmasked Eleanor to make it canon as like you i don't like the way they just hammed one up!
How's the world of Greggs these days? =P

    Haha! No way :O
I was going to carve the symbol into the back of it, but I haven't bothered looking for a tool to do it with yet :P

There's nothing wrong with that if that's what you enjoy doing! They do look amazing for it.

I know, it would have been cool to join forces!

Excellent, I definitely await that if masked Eleanor is anything to go by

Ahh, I am no longer an employee of Greggs. Four long years was more than enough.
I'm an accounts administrator now, sounds fancier than it is :P

How's work and life with you?

    Good for you!

That means you'll have to doodle on post-it pads instead of pasty wrappers now =)

Work is busy, loads of redundancies happening which means workforce shortage and me running my ass off!!!

Glad to hear your collection is expanding though.
Thanks for the vote of confidence in the sculpts hun! means a lot!

So Mighty, Im pretty sure youve said it before, but what exactly do you use to do these sculpts? They really are great and Id love a bit of insight into your process.

    Hey Donut232,

I use Kneadatite sculpting plastic, I've taken pics of my figures during their build progress, if you like when I get a chance I'll post them so you can see?

Here is a link to my first mask! I made it out of plaster. It's too heavy to wear so my 2nd mask is lighter but I wasn't impressed enough so I am making a 3rd one right now without plaster (and I'm making a tutorial!) Here is my first mask! http://anndrealeeann.deviantart.com/...-WIP-203009330

    Hi again chaps.

Just posting the latest on my Rumbler WIP.
He's only just been primered to show any contusions and roughness that require further sanding and his helmet isn't fitted yet so its sitting high!

I'll be posting some of my Steinman WIP as soon as i can!

OMG I haven't been on here in years. So happy you guys are still making AMAZING Things!! The Sander Cohen and Andrew Ryan Figures are so amazing, I am so jealous of your talent! I really want to create some of the random in game items like many of you have, and slowly turn my house into rapture without my boyfriend noticing!

I recently Did a photo shoot in my Baby jane costume, the link is to my facebook album so excuse the poison ive photos! Hope you guys like them!

Hey I'm pretty new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone still has the files for the splicer masks? the Link no longer works and i'd like a bunny mask for prom since we're doing the whole mask theme thing. c:

    Give this a try: http://paperkraft.blogspot.com/2008/...icer-mask.html

I haven't made themself, so I don't know how well they'll turn out though.

    She's beautiful! <3

I know you are following the game designs, but i almost cringe when I see the knees on the Big Sister (that get way smaller than they should and could only work if the Big Sis was an amputee or really horribly deformed - the rest of the leg is within reasonable proportions even if a bit spindley)

A late BS2 version (after most of the masks have disintegrated in the 10 years...) the same shape cut out of a tin can (retaining the label - like a fruit can - kept for its 'decorative' value )...
