    Stereo3D support planned?

Lately I have been playing mostly games that work well with stereo3D equipment (LCD shutterglasses). Will Bioshock support stereo 3D?

Some 3D games work well out of the box, others are pretty much unplayable. Mtbs3d.com offers some guidelines for coding games and official certification for the ones that work well. I don't think it requires a lot of work, just a little attention to how some objects are placed in the game. Please consider looking into this before releasing the game, if it has not already been done.

    Nice! :)

Nice to see a thread with this topic!
I am also a fan of stereoscopic vision and this game would absolutely be super in stereo! Had shutterglasses and a crt-monitor quite some time but now advanced to a projector setup! So now all monsters are in real size and in 3D!

Waiting to try a demo for stereoscopic compability and if it's good in stereo i'll buy it right away!

I just downloaded the demo last night and was able to try it
with shutter glasses and so far it looks great in stereo 3-D!

I want to correct myself here, there is separation, but the stereo3d is not ideal, there are things to be worked out on this, sorry for misleading previous post.

Nathan, you tried it out... how does the crosshair look? The main problem I had back when I had shutterglasses was the crosshair. It would not be centered or I would see two of them...

How does the crosshair look in Bioshock? I have been thinking about picking up the game because the graphics look awesome and it the cool factor of playing it in 3D would be way out there.

I've played many games with shutter glasses (on my CRT)... Nvidia normally sorts something out (as they are the best choice for stereoscopic gaming).

I have e-dimensional glasses (non lcd ones).

I would like to 'walk' around Rapture in 3D and have a good look but only if I could bypass the tedious/repetitive gameplay and stop the splicers respawning.

The theme/environment is worth far more than the gameplay that was gaffer taped onto it.
