PSN issues

I just wanted to see if people were experiencing promblems with PSN of late? Only for civ rev really as well.

Heres what I have experienced.

On ffa ranked when I play the game seems to end in the BC with everyone leaving. I get to the dom victory screen telling mne I have won but then it marks me down as a loss.

Now I have only just started on mp and I know from threads it bad. But from memory my record is 15 - 29. About 20 of the loss have been freezes as above. So whats the point I keep asking myself. As a new player I want to play for rank but am I just wasting time?

Also as of late I seem to disconnect from players (they leave I am told) but we keep playing the game seperatly. The other players get the same message!! This has happened at least 3 times now.

Also as of the last few days I cant even get to play a ranked game that has other players waiting. I alway seem to be the first in the lobby and no on else ever turns up.

Is it my ps3, the game or the PSN?

I think it mostly depends on whether or not you have a good connection to the other players. If you are playing with someone who doesn't have a good connection with you, you'll see drops and weird waiting for player messages.

You could reset your router and see if it helps any.

i agree with spatenfloot. all cases you delineate are network cases as much as i know. i experience them very rarely. but i had a period in which i had that in every 2nd game. in that period, i used the internet of my neighbor. so i bet it has something to do with your internet.

at a certain amount of points you'll always host (be the first in the lobby). i don't know why but this is civ rev reality. congratulations. it will now take forever for you to get a matchup unless you play at night since you're english (right?).

no points in games that can be invited to. ranked games are no invite only.

Thanks guys. The joys of gaining rank mean you get to play even less!! lol.

Yes in in the UK so late nights may be the only time. Its a bugger for work though what.

Yeah I have been meaning to get to ask you for a game scottiex but time zone difference is a major bummer. One day no doubt.

I find it really hard to get ffa games so I just play h2h. I guess you can try that or try to get matches from the chat.
