WOuld you have liked Delta to be Eleanor's real father?
I'd think so. I mean so he would have more of a reason to save Eleanor than to just wanting to get out of Rapture.
Yes
No

It would twist the story far too much, I don't think Johnny Topside was even in Rapture long enough to have been around when Eleanor was born since she has to be atleast 7-9 in the intro.
It would have been a very nice twist to the story line if Delta was her actual father.
I think the storyline is much more effective not knowing and that should be one of the options in the poll.
Sometimes the mystery is more intersting than the actual answer.
Such as many of the mysteries in Lost
i think it would of been good becuase it could of been like Delta became a big daddy to protect eleanor i think it would of been a great twist
a thousand times yes
NO! IMO it would have been really cheesy and unnecessary for him to be her real father.
if he was her real father Sophia wouldn't have been able to do what she did then that would change the whole story.
no No NO!
I find it more tragic and interesting at the same time that Delta is a proxy father, not the real father.
So - no![]()
And if Delta were the real father, that means he did the deed with Sophia. What a player!
I love the father daughter story in BS2 it really added to my enjoyment of the game so if Delta had been the real father it would have just made that element of the story that much cooler.
It would've provided more background for Delta's character, so yes.
I think it would be silly if he were her real father, one I think Lamb would have mentioned it (but I think Lamb had a donor), two, it is just too neat, three, I don't see how it moves the story forward. beyond that it was nice to see something (possibly) good come from the BD LS transformation and underlines Elenor's "love is just a chemical" speech's message. Then also, there is the tragedy of what Lamb will do to her own daughter that Delta would not.
Overall, the idea that Delta is her real dad is along the lines of school children who think there two favorite teachers must be married.
He was the illegitimate son of Andrew Ryan and Jasmine Jolene, sold by his mother to be a guinea pig, a test tube baby, genetically tweaked as an embryo, artificially matured, and bred to be Fontaine's slave.Exactly! I want to learn more about Delta's past.Delta past, at least before becoming Delta was short but more interesting, to me.
With how much of a perfectionist Sofia Lamb is, I can't really see her accepting Delta's DNA.
it would be too predictable in a way, plus too story book-ish
I never liked Eleanor, and as Delta i wouldnt've give a damn as long as I got out of the city, or, in the first place, remained dead.
Okay, now seriously, wasn't he supposed to be her real father? the developers maight've just let it out, but her real father is never mentioned as far as I'm concerned.
It wouldn't surprise me if Andrew Ryan was her father...or Sander Cohen.
Wasn't there an early idea where Delta was to be Eleanor's real father?
It wouldn't make sense with the storyline at all, but I would love for it to be true.
I absolutely adore Eleanor's and Delta's relationship.
Chain reaction-esqué. Many conjectures would have been made. (Ex. Is Sofia her real mother? Why was he grafted into a Big Daddy?) and so forth.
Delta was Eleanor's real father, biological or not. You shaped her with your actions, had a bond with her strong enough to kill you physically or emotionally (going on a crazy rampage or crying at a gatherer's garden), and her emotionally (granted you didn't choose the evil ending, and also in good ending the bond wasn't severed since she absorbed your consciousness), you were her only hope of getting away from Lamb and her crazy experiments and reaching the surface, she says you're the only good thing that happened to her in rapture, and, since Delta is a blank slate which requires you to fill his role, she could be the same, you transformed her from the people's daughter into yours. The list goes on. Delta was Eleanor's real father in every sense except biological.

Before the game came out, I already thought that was the case. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw it as incredibly obvious.
I'm glad it did not turn out that way. Something about Delta being Eleanor's real father does not sit well with me. It seems kind of like some disturbing happenstance.
And with Delta's already scant background, this would add even more questions. Like who would willingly have a child with that cow of a woman, Sofia Lamb? I do not want to play as that guy.
Nah, imo him not being the real father is what realy set the tone, Delta wasn't connected to her any other way besides that chemical that drove him, it showed again how cruel rapture can be while also showing that it isn't completely lost by how he used/showed those emotions.
I second the yes vote!!!!
naw, that's kinda unnecessary I think. Overkill with the fraternal instincts maybe.
He would have been just like Mark Meltzer![]()
I guess so, but it would've been a little awkward story-wise. I did cry when Delta died in the ending.
Yeeeeeaaah... no...
I have to say, I would have liked him to be the real father. I mean, it would have made more sense do to the fact that she was calling you "father" throughout the whole game. Not to mention thats what the makers of the game wanted you to believe. But I guess in the video game world, anything works. Maybe there are secrets in the game that we still have not uncovered as gamers, that point out, what the next Bio Shock will be about.
