Unbelievable. For the first time I am truly dissapointed by 2k.

During the SitS viral campaign a lot of americans got stuff, including people who were just doing it for the sake of getting 'something', rather than beings fans wanting a unique piece of Bioshockery for their own. I'm not going as far as pointing out any names but when I'm looking at a topic in which three people who signed up a week before the final SitS-event say they all got awesome stuff, something's wrong.

Now, I'm comfortable with something being somewhat wrong. Surely, non-Americans would get a chance as well, sometime, right? It seems not. For some unexpainable reason 2k has NOT chosen to ship outside America and part of Canada. Why? I could only think of shipping costs - which would be a complete joke. Those costs are nothing compared to the costs of the viral campaign itself. Instead, 2k has chosen to give americans an oppurtunity to get themselves even more masks - no offense, but there are plenty of fans who've got multiple masks and there's bound to be some who'll get even more. That's just nice.

I myself invested good money into getting to Amsterdam (yes, I live in Holland), hoping to get something awesome, something unique, maybe even a splicer mask - I got a flimsy chain made of kids' toys which broke on the way back. Maybe I should be appreciating the thought of being part of a worldwide viral campaign, rather than being dissapointed by spending dozens of euros and my weekend on a broken chain but then again, I think 2k should as well the other way around - think about your fans first and realize there are some who got less than others.

I wasn't dissapointed for spending $10 on the new, unplayable map pack which even reset my leaderbord stats but this I find unbelieveable. Thank you for nothing, 2k.

    Testify!!!!

Maybe all foreign fans who don't have a mask should write their name on a thread directed to 2k. Asking the reasons why we don't get anything whereas they are just giving them to the USA.

So all forum members that do not live in America, Canada and the UK who don't have a mask right down here!

Love how the thread is doing so well compared to others, due to masks being involved.

I shall enter everyday possible, if by some devine work of god i accumulate 2 masks or recieve another Tribal, i will run a contest on the forums, best possible way i can say thanks.

    Good luck all.

Well, it was kinda like he was flauting the fact he just needed one more mask to complete the collection, whereas previous posts were made from foreign people expressing the fact they don't even have one mask at all, seemed a little tactless if you asked me

Wow....I gotta admit..I have always stood by 2K, etc....but after being royally pi$$ed on with this DLC garbage, and now this...I mean come on...do you even want international support.

I even sent 3 letters and still didn't get a pawn card, while others on this forum got numerous. The last one I paid extra (from Australia) for tracking on it. FFS!

    Devastated.

Don't think he/she meant it in a mean way, indeed having almost every mask is extremely lucky, and for those of you such as yourself who have had the misfortune not to recieve any, it must be a rather large kick in the nuts to not be allowed to participate in what is probably one of the last chances to win a mask.

All in all i understand why you would be upset, just don't think it was meant in a horrible way.

    warning long read.

I never have the pleasure of owning one, but would cherish it a long time if i do have one. Heck, i'll even wear it to the movie opening to show my appreciation for how much i like Bioshock as a game and in general. I may look like a stupid Jackass or the biggest dork in the world but i don't care. So, if i do win. I thank you all and if i don't win than...well, that's fine as well.

However, i do wish to offer montary fund $$ for the mask. Plane and simple. What? @30 U.S Dollars? is that correct?. I'm willing to spend my hard earn money for the mask. I'm not Joking at all. I'm dead serious like a heart attack. Forget about online auction, it's way too expensive even for me. One mask i remember went as far as 200-400 Dollars.

In the begining, i thought that by writing a letter to Mark Meltzer(spelling) would qualified me to an exclusive club (member of the Pawn) or i'm guessing I.D.D member? and in return i have to prove myself worthy of the such awesome swags (mask) like spreading the words about Bioshock 2 game and such thing. Well time had past and Bioshock 2 game released and i've come to a realization that it too late there's nothing i can do. Beside someone stated earlier that Mark isn't accepting anymore letters so i never sent it in. With that in mind,

I kept lurking and hanging around 2k forums hoping i could be a member of the Pawn or become a member of the I.D.D team and see what i can do to return the favor and possible score some free things in the mail. I see now that it is not possible anymore but i kept trying and trying like wanting to take part in the new viral campaign which i thinks is clearly for the I.D.D members and Pawns. I kept following it as much as possible but drop out. KatMann or should i say(Desmond Connery) if you're reading this i would've written a letter to you but didn't. Maybe because it was awkward or something.

On an off-topic, could anyone please verify if this address is correct 9049 Macarthur Blvd. NW Washington, DC 20016. I believed this was for a new viral campaign where members of the Pawn and I.D.D would writes in for. I never know if it was correct or not. I just wondering if i was on the right track or not. Anyway, like i've stated above i'm hoping to win the mask but i'm not counting on it but i'm willing to paid in full if i don't win at all. If the price is still @ 30 U.S dollars.

So sorry about the long read. I have to get it off my shoulders, my case pleading for the mask. Peace.

@gamertam: no, you can't send in letters for the IDD. You have to sign up at this website: www.projectenemyunknown.com. We actually don't know if signing up will get anyone anything at this point. The ARG (for XCOM) is moving very slowly.

    okay. So you have to:

    1) be at least seventeen (if in the united states)
    2) like their facebook page

what do you have to comment on exactly?
and do you have to publiclly display your age?

You have to scroll past all the posts and find the post about the mask give away, and then comment on that post. Your facebook knows your age, so if you can't get in that's why you can't get on the page.
