The opening cut scene appears to occur in Adonis, but is the location actually extant in the game itself?
I always thought so, as the room you awaken in does seem very similar to the one we see in the cutscene, despite a few obvious differences, like the sculpture in the middle of the room.
Aside from that, I don't think any other areas that we see in the cutscene are accessible.
If I correctly recall, the room where you take your first steps is where Delta was shot. It might not be, dwelling further on it though. I just remember the big staircase Lamb came from; and I remember a staircase like it right in the beginning. I don't think ANYTHING else is included though - it is Adonis, I think, however.

Its not in the same place since Delta came out of the Vita-Chamber. You can even see the Little Sister that put your DNA into the Vita-Chamber. Wherever you died you were transported to the Adonis afterwards.

No, not w/that bloody great fountain in the middle. Also, the stairs seem to be at the wrong angle to the balcony. IIRC, the stairs are opposite the balcony.
Also, I think it's "Adonis SPA", not hotel.
Isn't the spa inside the hotel?
