sweet good thing to. I havent found a single good ally in a while now. Sad thing is it takes me forever to download map packs. I may take my whole Thursday just downloading it and play on friday.

I can't wait until the new map packs arrive. We're going to be like a bunch of noobs again, running around the maps, not knowing where we're going or where anything is. It's gonna be fantastic!

Even better will be when I take the Rebirth Challenge and get booted all the way back down to rank 1 again. People will be avoiding me like the plague because nobody wants to get stuck with a rank 1 on their team. I can't wait!

The documentary Grizzly Man certainly was filmed in Alaska. Did you see that, with the bear and the guy, and the guy in the bear? I think John Carpenter's The Thing was filmed there as well. Actually I play a lot. It's just that I have everything in my Profile set to Blocked because it cuts down on the freezing. I told codyfoo about this as well and he's had some success with it as have a bunch of my friends

What you do first is turn your Notifications Off. If you're still getting little messages on-screen about Achievements or telling you when your friends are online, then your Notifications are still on. You need to turn them off.

Next, go to your Profile Settings by pressing the big X on your controller. Scroll down to Privacy Settings and click on it. This will take you to the dashboard where you'll be able to access all your Privacy Settings.

What you want to do here is set EVERYTHING to Blocked, right down the line starting with Voice and Text and everything thereafter. What you're doing basically is blocking off all communications from other players as well as stopping any messages from popping up while you're playing the multiplayer, whether it be a notification that your friend just signed on or that you've just scored an achievent. You're completely blocking any possibility that your multiplayer session will be interfered with by the computer.

Lastly, Opt Out of Xbox Marketing at the bottom of your Privacy Settings.

And that's it, you're good to go. For some reason this seems to drastically reduce the freezing (if not stop it altogether). I don't know WHY it works, but it does. Some of my friends say it's stopped their freezing altogether while others say they still have the random freeze here and there but nowhere near as bad as it was before they made the changes.

The only thing that sucks about it is none of your friends can tell if you're online and you don't have any contact with them when you're playing the multiplayer.

So again, it's

1. Turn Notifications Off

4. Opt out of Xbox and Partner Marketing

I won't guarantee your results but it definitely has worked for me and others I know so it can't hurt to try. I have had some people tell me it hasn't helped at all but I think they left out one of the steps or it could just be that this fix is more dependent on each person's individual Xbox console than I'm assuming it is.

Yeah but surely it'll display you as online? I dunno, I haven't played in ages anyway. But i'll be on for 2 days this weekend with the new maps I'm expecting a game
