A fun combo for the newb's to use is Winter Blast and Back Stabber. This also works with both Electro Bolt, Aero Dash, and Houdini. It's best to use Back Stabber on those who are hacking. Easy kills. Also do not underestimate using Houdini with the Auto Fire Pistol. A solid tonic loadout is this.
    Metabolic Eve
    Back Stabber
    Eve Saver

This way you can restore eve while on the move. If your good with your eve usage take out Metabolic Eve for Speedy Recovery. A very useful and underestimated tonic.

    Tip #242

Whatever you do, do not high five a barrel. >_> Terrible consequences

Now for a real tip hahaha, if you are gonna shoot someone in the head aim at the top, in cases of lag and you will get a neck shot( which is most likely head hunter not taking effect sort of like how rez+lag+turf war= no rez, needless to say it seems not all tonics are effected by lag but among the ones that are:

Rez: a variety of effects from your body teleporting to not rezing at all
Death Trap: usually a delayed explosion and in other cases no ticking sound before detonation.

    Plasmids are as followed:

All: the usual delay in effect
Telekinesis: can get stuck in TK without notice of when it will end.

Another thing to note is that arrows and nades being tangent are much more ineffective in lag. As they may hit invisible walls and in some cases delayed effect or no effect at all. Best to use bullets in lag.

For the ppl getting their ass handed to them by homing nades, if you shoot the nades homing in on you with a shot of winter blast, you can destroy them before they hit you

Incinerate/telekinesis and a crossbow head shot is a kill without head hunter. For the homing nade users, utilize both electro bolt and incinerate in your loadouts. Incinerate does make the nades home in faster. Also two homing body shots followed up by electro bolt is a kill. If your using head hunter with the rate of fire crossbow go for the head shot followed up by a body shot. Two bolts are a kill. If you using a damage stack of expert researcher and head hunter, use a charged electro bolt and you can get a one shot head shot. So long as you've researched them.

I have two questions. First, do you use the "close up sights" when doing headshots, or ever? It is just an annoyance to me that I keep hitting when I get excited. Second, do you usually charge your plasmids or just fire them off?

Only time I find it necessary to use ironsights in headshotting is when your are using the Sniper Scope Elephant Gun. Some people do use it, but I find it kinda easy to clutch shot someone pretty far sans ironsights, so I pretty much say why bother with it. But I personally fire sans iron sight for every other weapon except what I mentioned above. And I assume that other Sniper Scope Elephant gun users use iron sights for it too (which is a rare bunch). The scope isn't just for show lol.

And for plasmids, I just shoot it. When you charge it, you lose eve and as you keep charging it, the meter depletes quite quickly. This and the fact that I'm incredibly stingy with my eve

I never use ironsights. I used to end up toggling them when I would push too hard on the thumbsticks, so I changed my controller setup so that it's now the triangle button (Y button on xbox). I changed the thumbsticks to functions I use in combat and that has forced my to have more control over how hard I'm leaning on the controller.

As for charging plasmids, the only one I ever make a point to charge is incinerate. With the others I find it unnecessary.

I agree incinerate is the only plasmid worth charging, as it does massive damage. Coupled with a single nade, damage increase crossbow/elephant gun shot. Is deadly.

Thanks for answering. I did switch the ironsight button from the right thumbstick to the left (on PS3) but I can't seem to put it somewhere where it doesn't get in the way. I also have problems with the weapon trigger/toggle buttons. If I use my forefinger on the trigger, when I toggle the weapon to switch it, it takes me too long to go back to firing again since I kind of lose my position. I know this is just a coordination problem, I don't expect a solution. Right now I use my middle finger for the trigger and keep my forefinger on the toggle. I bet you guys never thought that such a simple thing could cause problems.

Does the controller you use matter to you? I know when I switch controllers I am using it makes a huge difference to me, just because I'm used to one. I was wondering if there are better controllers and if they are worth buying. I am thinking of adding some more handle space to mine using Bondo (I did this with my 10 meter match pellet gun) so I have better control. My hands are pretty big and it kind of slides around on me.

Their is a piece of irony also. I shoot competitively and am pretty good with the pellet pistol, which really takes the most precision in aiming and holding yet this is my biggest weakness in BS.

try making it the button you're least likely to hit in battle instead of a joystick button... My joystick buttons are jump and fire weapon.

Maybe try just sliding your finger down to the trigger button after switching weapon/plasmid instead of releasing your grip and then trying to hit the trigger button. With the ps3 controller I find that to be an easy solution.

I personally notice a difference in the way a new ps3 controller handles versus one I have broken in... I've never used a third-party controller for either console... just official Sony or Xbox controllers...

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about here... If you mean the trigger buttons themselves, there are clip-on extenders you can buy for the ps3 controller.

No, I don't mean the triggers but the whole controller. It is just too small and my pinkies don't fit on the handles so I am holding it with only my third finger and sometimes my middle finger. I just want it to be bigger so it fits my hand and my forefinger and middle finger are free.

I would think there would be an aftermarket for specially fitted controllers, that mold to your hand shape. I don't know that it would make any difference but it seems like a cool idea and gamers are obsessive and will probably pay for anything that might give them an edge.

Something I found out last night. If your a big daddy and your trying to destroy a rocket turret. As you aim at it, aim right at the point where the rockets are fired. If you get the position right you can destroy the rockets that it fires and the turret itself.

I won't give a tip exactly but I will confess what may be the stupidest thing I have done in BS2. I didn't know how to use Houdini and thought you just hit it once and you were invisible, I wondered how long you remained that way so I would hit it every 5 seconds or so and I thought I was running around invisible while all I was doing was throwing around red dust to highlight myself.

When I first started I was scared of running through my teammates geyser traps and so would get trapped in rooms for no reason. I have to admit I still sometimes do this to myself with my own geyser traps and then I want to leave so I have to blow up the trap I just set. I also didn't know how to stomp as a Big Daddy. I still sometimes waste half my grenades by placing them right on the Little Sister and they go off, the same with turrets and teammates. My new pet peeve is with my own teammates running right in front of me as I shoot off a grenade, this happens a lot, eventually I will learn to look out for them. Maybe next week.

I've been playing with the EG and I have to admit, getting a one shot kill is pretty fun.

I think some guy was deliberately sabotaging our team in CTS last night. I was sacrificing myself getting the Sister almost to the hole and then he was grabbing her and running off in the other direction. He may have just been confused but he did it so often I really think he was doing it on purpose. Then I had some mouthy kid on my team who kept trash talking my teammates so I kind of did the same thing to him.

I've noticed some teams don't go directly for the hole but find somewhere relatively safe and wait to group up, that is probably a good tactic if you have decent teammates and don't control the route.

Sounds like average jerk moves! It does indeed seem like he was ruining the chances of winning on purpose.
