There was a post by Ken sometime last year that was proud about the voice of Ryan (in the "betrayed by the weak" video) and asking if we could guess who it was. But I don't think anybody ever guessed it; anyway nobody ever spilled the beans. Does anyone here have a guess (or has it been announced yet)?
Apparently the actor is speaking a little more slowly and lower than his usual parts, whatever they are. I was at first thinking Patrick Stewart, but I don't think that's it.
No,not Picard, his voice is too plummy as we brits would say,Its hard to even say if the voice from the trailer is even male, once you start using vocoders and other vocal enhancements, its possible to create unique tones of all kinds.![]()
At first I thought it might have been Ron Perlman, but parts of that trailer don't sound as deep and throaty as his voice. Maybe Richard Doyle who voiced Moebius in LOK: Soul Reaver? It is hard to guess since so many great voice actors can manipulate their voices so incredibly.

No known actors please. I'd rather have an unknown or purely VO vocation cast than have a bunch of big names paid exorbitant fees for 5 minutes of use, money that could have gone elsewhere in the project. SS2 had an exceptional cast that used all in-house or VO people.
I do wish to see Stephen Russell used effectively and pervasively, if Irrational decided to hire him again.....
Stephen Russell is one of the finest voice actors i've ever heard
