    Whos idea was this???

Alright, first and foremost, let me say I love BS2 and I love multiplayer, even with its grenade spamming morons and occasionaly game-breaking lag, I love multiplayer...

    Except for one thing...

Whos idea was it to force us to have 6 damn players in a lobby before we can start a game?!?!

I mean, seriosuly? it's one of the worst systems I've ever expirenced, heres why - people don't want to be kept waiting, we want to get straight into our games, so if we have to sit in some stupid lobby waiting for 4 more people to join, guess what happens? we get bored, we leave, and no one gets anything done!

You only need 2 people to play a game damnit!

Well two people is a bit too low, but I hear you.

I say they change it to a 4 person minimum. This is especially true in a game where the population is dwindling.

Also get rid of the stupid 60 second countdown. I don't wanna wait, I just want to play. Make it 20-30 seconds at most, that should be enough time to let players make any minor loadout changes they may want in between matches.

No, two people is not too low. Yesterday, after waiting nearly an hour for a damn lobby to fill, I got impatient, as people do, and decided to invite the lobbies only other occupant - a supprisingly skilled rank 4 newbie - to a private game. Guess how many people were in it? 2. And guess what? it was an enjoyable game! Despite the fact that, oh yeah, we got no exp for it.

With two people in a non-private game, guess what will happen? more will join, because they'll be able to join straight into the game! Games fill up, very quickly, once you have 6 people in a game, say, it only takes half a round for it to go up to 10. If it was only 2 people in a game, it would fill up even faster, by the end of one game, there would be at least 8 people on the scoreboard.

I wouldn't want to play against just 1 other person. But I would like as an alternative, if the game started no matter how many members and it was just a free play made with no score until there were enough people!

Well your argument that more people will join once the match starts does have weight to it, but I think the MP in this game thrives on chaos. You can't have chaos with only two people.

Its personal to me, but a 1v1 game is a game I wouldn't want to play. I would rather wait for at least 4.

My suggestion to you, if you can't find a room, cancel out and press find match again. After 3-4 tries of that and still nothing, go to a different mode. I've yet to be in a situation where not a single mode in the game has people.

Thats what I do, every single time I try and play MP thats what I do, guess what? No one stays in the lobbies long enough, because sitting in a lobby, waiting even for 3 more people is boring, and we play video games to stop being bored.

If my idea was implemented, games would fill up quickly and that whole chaos thing you talk about will happen even quicker, and more often. but if you have to sit and wait for 75% of the time your playing the game, then somewhere something has gone very wrong, and I think what went wrong happened in the office of whoever designed multiplayer.
