Mafia II also in the UK 18+ & uncut

The BBFC published the official rating for Mafia II today.
As expected the game was rated 18+ and will be released uncut.

This means it'll be mature and authentic, as long as they don't over do it on cursing. Personally I don't mind it, but if there's too much of it it can spoil the authenticity...

The story was finished since 2003. So the game is finished, it's just the Czech devs are polishing the hell out of this game.

Mobster's/gangsters vocabulary is run by curse words so expect alot which won't ruin anything it'll just make it realistic.Something like the sopranos and not fairy tale godfather.

The BBFC rating is for the cinematic cutscenes in the game
for the actual gameplay itself ESRB have rated it Mature
