How come in Bioshock 2 when you look down, you can't see your feet

when you look down, you can't see your feet, but in the beggining when you wake up u see your reflectionand your feet, that was one of my let downs in The Bioshock 2 Game

I think there is more to the story of Bioshock ! Maybe you are not a Big Daddy but some kind of ghost. An echo of the past with two floating hands next to your head. It's strange that when you see your shadow you see a full body even though you definitely don't have one.
But seriously , it's a shame they spend so much time on making the world feel so believable, but when you look down...

Uhh...Is that a complain or just something to point out?.. o.o

In most FPS shooters you can't see your feet, at least the ones I've played.
It's okay though, Bioshock also had that "glitch"
