Hi Tomek theres a couple of things we could try for this. Let's start with the simplest. Try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 2000

    - Could you then please follow the below path:-

    C:\ Program Files \ 2k Games \ Bioshock 2 \ SP \ Builds \ Binaries

    - In the Binaries file you will find a file named Bioshock2Launcher.exe

    - right click on this file and select send to > desktop (create shortcut)

    - Go to the desktop and right click the shortcut and select Properties

    - select the 'Compatibility'

    - click on the check box where it says 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'

    - select each of the available options in turn checking the games performance after each selection.

    - after you have selected each compatibility option, click apply, then ok.

Always run the game from this shortcut.

OK, maybe I know now where th Problem might be. While the splash-Intro I deactivated my windows-live account, and now the Game is Running. Now how it is possible to run the Game with an active win-live account?

OK, now I had to realize, that while playing without an active win-live account, it is not possible to save the game progress. :-(

You can create a offline account, simply press the 'Home' key on your keyboard to see the GFWL guide, click on create New Profile, scroll down the page, then click on create a local profile, the enter a player name and click submit. You can then close the Games for Windows Guide window.

No, that did not help to solve the Problem, after creating an offline User Account, th symptoms were the same as with the online Account. I can play the game with no user account activated, but canīt save the progress. But after logging in with an account, nevermind if is an offline or online-account, the game crashes.

after i coud find the saveGames-Folder installed on the D:/ Drive, i could delete the corrupt savegame-Files and finally login with my old GFWL Account. and now the game is running. Maybe this could help other users. Try to find the savegames, delete them (you loose all the game-progress) and try to relogin with your GFWL-Account.
