I love it just slows the rate of fire that all but then I met Mr. half-sawed then I fell in love with the shotgun all over again.

I tried the auto reload once and put it away haha. Used rate of fire for awhile but now I'm enjoying the sawn off.

Sawed-off is definitely better. I used Auto-reload several times, it was basically useless, considering the rate of fire is already slow.

I use it all the time and I think it is great, it eliminates my biggest concern with a shotgun, the loading of one buckshot at a time.

sawed off shotgun is definatly my favourite weapon but i did try auto-reload once and realised why it is useless

if your enemy isnt dead after you've fired four shots, then you are.
with the other two upgrades, usually your enemy is dead anyway so you can reload with ease.

Yeah, if you dont hit the enemy with your first or second shot, your usually dead. If you manage to hit the second but dont kill them, you usually have to whip out a quick-fire weapon like the machine gun to finish them off before they do the same to you.

You don't think about the possibility to be fighting a group of enemies?

Then it's nice with fast reloading

the time between shots mean your lucky to kill one before being smahed to pieces. this isn't a long range weapon. you need to be up close and personal which means your putting yourself up close to a whole group of people plus your more likely to meet people alone, people rarely gang up, and if they do, you just use a plasmid to give you the upper hand. if your lucky to get off 3 shots at a single enemy.. your not gonna get more than one against a group

Yeah, this is why the sawed-off and RoF are better and that it is very well paired with aero dash and houdini since you want to get in there, get the kill in the least shots as possible, and dash out. If there is another person behind you that you notice after your kill, and you need to reload, aero dash/houdini because VERY helpful.

And from time to time I get on some crazy wild lucky killing spree with me taking out a group of enemies single handedly.
