Problem with sound in Multiplayer.

Upon beginning multiplayer for the first couple of days all was well. However on the third day of playing multiplayer the sound disappeared. No music or sound effects at all play. I have played about with settings and considered reinstalling my drivers but as the sound is fine in single player I doubt it would make a difference. Has anybody else had this problem? It has stopped me from playing multiplayer all together and is something that is really annoying me. Please get back to me asap somebody, I want to get back into the multiplayer straight away!

Hey I had this problem, even sound in the GFWL menu stopped working too. I tried everything I could but the weirdest thing fixed it(After hours of tinkering).

Try starting up the Prologue in MP and when Andrew Ryan starts speaking on the TV, the sound may suddenly kick back on(everything will remain silent until the TV turns on). It worked for me, hope it works for you.

I could not find the reason for this problem as I had not changed anything in my PC. The only thing I know for certain that I did was; played MP and it had sound, played SP through to the end(got some achievements that maybe glitched it like "Brass Balls"), then started up MP and the sound was dead but still working in SP. Even deleting all traces of BS2 plus un-installing/re-installing did not solve this so its very weird.
