ok so im almost positive that ive won 5 matches with each character (even the pre order exclusives) and yet no trial completion. But i realized a possible explanation other than, i just miscounted. Perhaps you have to win 5 matches with each character AFTER you unlock the trial. idk has anyone completed it yet?

1. You should probably do it after the trial has been unlocked, don't think it counts before that, if it would you could complete trials even before unlocking them, and when unlocking them you would instantly complete it.
2. They can be team-based as far as I know, I've completed other trials that require you winning the match, in team-based matches.

I have the same problem with this trial and the "Call me old fashioned" with no weapons. Maybe they are both death-match or last splicer standing exclusive?

For Call Me Ol' Fashioned, you HAVE to WIN, which usually translates to 1st on SOTF, or have your team win. And DON'T rest your finger on the trigger because you WILL instinctively pull it w/out realising it. The Split Personality one works just fine, so if you still haven't recieved it, go through and win one more match with each character, and repeat until done.

I was only able to get the "Call Me Old Fashion" trial in civil war. I play mostly cap the sis and never got it until I went into the civ war. Im guessing that the "Split Pers" trial is the same way. Hope this helps.
It just means that all vending machines must be hacked for YOU at the same time. So to achieve the trial, all the vending machines in the map must currently have a blue light (your hack).anyone who can help?

Its Quite easy To get these on "Kashmir Restaurant" Or "Home for the poor" as these are very small maps with Only 2 turrets and Very few Vending machinesanyone who can help?

Now apperently (got from a friend) you must win the game, beginning from the countdown (when you start) all the way till you win. Joining midgame wont count.
ALso if you lag when you enter the game, you might not have that game count since it didnt start from countdown. (sometimes happens)

bull****, and i don't beleive you. Me and two other people tried going after this stupid trial, started ALL matches on every character in adam grab, cap sis, AND civil war, completed all the matches, did complete walkthroughs on all chars like about... 3 different times now?? and STILL do not have this trial. The trial is broken, and I've emailed 2k support about it TWICE.
I got the split personality trial just fine and here is one rule I noted:
1. It counts wins you got with characters before you unlock the trial. My main is Suresh, so I never had to play him to unlock this trial since I already had countless wins with him.
2. I got all my wins in Civil War. Don't know if that matters.
I have the DLC and the pre-order characters and I got 5 wins with all of them. However I can't tell if they are included because the last win I needed was with the housewife. At the time I unlocked the trial I had played with most of the original characters, but apparently I only had 4 wins with the housewife.
All I can say is double check your thinking that you got 5 wins with every character.
Avoid laggy matches, start at the countdown. These 2 are important since it can cause your match to not count if you d/c, or start even 5 seconds after a match starts
Civil war is fine, you just need to win. Do it with ALL characters you have 5 times.
trust me i have it. I can swear i did it like 15 times with all characters, but when i followd the above rule i got it after a few days.

What would really REALLY help in this trial is if instead of a useless 0/1 on the trial it had 0/50 so you could at least tell how many wins you're still after and you could check if a game counted or not.
Man thats total bull****, cause if it counted before the trial was unlocked, WHICH BY THE WAY, according to 2k tech support, IT DOESN'T, then i would have had the trial done by the time i even GOT the DLC.
so you are wrong on that aspect.
secondly, void, unless you show me an ACTUAL screenshot of you having this trial checked off, I DO NOT BELEIVE YOU.
Third, what is the progression then?? a character five times at once? or repeatedly switch chars after every match.
I still want screenshots from everyone who claims to have this trial, cause people who have been playing ALOT longer don't have it.
I have it...but I have not the technology to screenshot it...as I'm on PS3. And I don't want to spend money on something if there is something...just to prove it to some random forum troll.

It should be all the characters you currently have.
Just try repeat every character from countdown to end untill you get it.

I didn't know about this particular trial until I found this thread a few days ago. I thought that I would be a good candidate to put your theories to the test, since (until I saw this thread) I have never used any character, aside from Milles Blanche something something. (Heh.. sorry. The actress chick. I'm quite a manly geek in RL, but in games, I like to cross-dress.
I reached level 50 about a week ago, and ran out of "drive" to play, so I started going through the list of trials.
Enough of that... without further adieu, my results:
These results were achieved on the XBOX 360 version of the game, so make of that what you will. My suspicion is that it is probably the same for each system.
#1. When I finally received the "Split Personality" award, I had JUST PICKED MY LOADOUT AND WAS DROPPED INTO A MATCH WHICH WAS COMPLETING. Luckily, I was assigned to the winning team. The game type was CAPTURE THE SISTER. (Literally JUST dropped in. My feet didn't even hit the ground before the "YOU WIN" graphic popped up, follwed by the "Split Personality" info box.) I was using Naledi Atkins when this occurred. Starting from the beginning, the middle, or the very end of a match appears to have no bearing on this trial.
#2. I'm a good player, but certainly not a great player, by any means. As such, I rarely come in at the top of the pile for any gametype. For these matches, I was ranked from the very top to the very bottom at random in random game types. Individual rank during a match appears to have no bearing on this trial.
#3. I played all gametypes EXCEPT for Civil War, Last Splicer Standing, ADAM Grab, and Survival of the Fittest. (EG. Turfwar, Capture the Sister and Team ADAM Grab.) Team VS individually ranked gametypes appear to have no bearing on this trial.
#4. My cable connection sux, so EVERY MATCH I PLAY is cursed with lag. It would appear that LAG has no effect on this trial.
#5. As stated, I play on the XBOX360, so I do not have the ability to snap a screenshot, however, I do have a camera on my iPhone and I will happily snap a photo of my trial statistics to show that I have received the trial award. I will edit this post and add link to photo as soon as I run in and snap the pic.
For those of you who think that you've "already won AT LEAST 5 matches with each character", I can only say this... you are probably mistaken. It took A WHOOLLLLE lot longer than I had first imagined to accomplish this trial. This was, in most part, due to all of the games lost. I honestly did not realize how many games are lost in any gaming session, because you can lose the game as a team, but still have a great game as a player. Perception is the key here. I usually have 2 or 3 games where I "feel" like I PWNED NOOBS TEH UBERRR! and then have a game or 2 where I'm just completely off. After recording my scores and team scores, it blew my mind to go back over them and realize how many of the games my team actually lost, even though my perception was that they were all good (read:WIN) games.
Granted, we all want to be on the winning team for every game, but you most likely are thinking of your time spent PLAYING and not the matches that your team actually WON. Also, If you're playing private matches, they don't count against your trials. (Which I thought was obvious, but just to make sure all bases are covered...)
For those curious, I've posted my recorded match data below for a few characters.. It's a crapload of info to type, so I only included a few to give you some idea of what my "experiment" looked like. If anyone wants the rest of it, let me know... it's just too damned much to type without provocation:

Two things: about forum troll comment, lick my nads. if youre here just as much as i am, youre no more of a troll yourself. lawl.
second, i dont have the pre order chars, cant get them, have gotten at LEAST ten wins on all chars, of which there are eight for me, and still do not have this trial.
third, this is why i beleive none of you. either this trial is seriously bugged, or it doesnt work at all. TRUST ME, i have gone above and beyond with this thing and counted all wins, on all types of matches. IT DOES NOT WORK. i have gone through each char. five times, with wins, about ... three different times now?? and i still do not have this trial.
fourth, 2k gives no information on this trial at all, nor specifics of completing it. so, which is it then?? is it seriously bugged? or doesnt work??
i wish somone would give me goddamn proof of either already instead of running off at the mouth.

ok. now, before i call you a total douche for your outburst, now that SOMEONE has finally provided proof..... need to know details and the following:
1] did you play each character five wins all at once? or did you keep switching after every win
2] i dont have the pre order chars and cant get them. you apparently do have them. are they required?!?
3] did you get these wins all in a single game playing session?? if so, exactly how many hours did it take you? i am assuming that quitting and logging off after a certain amount of wins should not affect this trial, but seeing as how so many few people actually have it, i seriously wonder what it takes.
why no one beleives me when i tell them ive done five wins on all eight chars i have about three different times and still dont have it is beyond me. maybe i should post screens on the actual index card i used to count the wins as well as me not having the trial??

This trial is definitely broken in some way, for me at the very least. It's my absolute last trial to get, and since it became available it I've kept a record of who my wins were with:
Jacob: 13 wins (2 joined mid-game)
Barbara: 12 wins (2 joined mid-game)
Buck: 11 wins
Danny: 13 wins (3 joined mid-game)
Suresh: 13 wins (2 joined mid-game)
Naledi: 14 wins (2 joined mid-game)
Zigo: 12 wins (2 joined mid-game)
Mlle: 13 wins (3 joined mid-game)
Oscar: 11 wins
Louie: 14 wins (1 joined mid-game)
Approximately 75% of the wins are from Survival of the Fittest, with the rest gotten from the remaining game modes.
I use the PC version of the game.
My first 5 sets of the wins with each characters were all in a row (i.e. win 5 rows wit ha character then change to a different one), then after a while I just started randomly changing character after every other match.
Hopefully they can take a look at this trial and see just what the heck is going wrong with it. Anyone on PC confirmed got this trial?
A few people have it, i do
Start from countdown, avoid laggy games, finish to the end, and win the match.
Done, done, done and done, and over twice what the trial requires. There is something wrong with this trial.
If i did it you can do it
Maby avoid laggy games, where it disconnects. It might cause the game to not count.

Yay for bumping old threads, but that said...I still don't have this either.
There *is* something wrong with this trial. Maybe wins in SotF don't count because that's all I play, but I KNOW I've got more than 5 wins per character. I don't have preorder characters. I've yet to see anyone comment that they've unlocked this trial without them (or I can't read).
i got split personality this morning...dont ask me how, cause i dont know, i just know i was using barbara last time
