freeze after voice-over
CPU is a 3200+, under spec I know, but game has worked fine for me since I renamed all the bink video files because they won't play on my machine, they freeze up the game. No problems at all.
Getting stuck in Dionysus Park. After I rescue the first little sister, and there is a cutscene where Eleanor talks to me about the parties that Stanley threw to try and ruin lamb. The game hard freezes, no sound or motion, after she finishes speaking. Tried the latest release and beta nvidiea drivers.
Welcome to the forums.
Could you please provide your system details and (if possible) the event viewer information if your game eventually crashes wuth an error message. If you are unsure of what to provide or how to provide it please refer to the following thread: Before Posting

Like I said, Bioshock2 runs great with medium settings, despite being under spec, except for the bink videos.
I renamed a few aptly-named bik files back to .bik, and i got past these event viewer error messages:
Hanging application BioShock2.exe, version 126.96.36.199, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.
Its a shame. I won the game without seeing much of any of the Bink videos. Could hear them fine too, just the video chops at a rate of one frame per 20s or so. Had to watch the ending on youtube. You guys can make a state-of-the-art game engine that runs a fantastic FPS, but can't play cutscenes? A shame.
The drivers for your Logitech device are old. I would recommend checking for updates for these. If these don't help, try it with the system sound instead of an external device.
Also, run the game in Windowed mode to see if there is any difference.
