Achievement Guide (IN THE MAKING)

Well I really do try to never use a guide on games, but I just had to on the last 2 audio diaries. I found one with just the level clue though, but the other involved me finding it from a FULL instruction. Damn guides playing the game for me.

SPOILER:

The first time you meet Cohen, dont attack him. He wont aggro you. Just let him wander off. When you arrive at his house later on, the door will be open. Go inside, get the Acheivement for visiting his house. You'll then get a message from Cohen outraged youve gone into his house. He comes from upstrairs. Kill him, and take a pic of his fresh corpse.

You'll have go all the way back to get his Muse, but its only a 5 minute trip.

yea the brass balls achievement will finish off ur gamerscore...thats the one im working on right now....awful lot of points for one achievement but i suppose u get that many for beating the easiest boss in the game too(Atlas)

Really? Fontaine was easiest for you? I found Andrew Ryan much easier. I mean, he practically Gives you the murder weapon. Not practically... He DOES!

This seems like it'd be pretty helpful. Unfortunately I didn't see it until after I got the Brass Balls achievement, lol. I just used the guide from GameFAQS before now. This is a nice in depth one though. Kudos!

Irony: 10g Take a picture of Sander Cohen's body. Save before doing this if you want the next achievement. He is a houdini splicer type. Rid of him the same way as you do those. When you are done you can open up that second case with the chains all around. You can keep playing if you want or load your save and go for the next achievement.

Found Cohen's Room: 10g I killed Cohen so I didn't get this. I guess if you don't kill him later on he tells you about his room and how to get in it/to it. It has a Power to the People in it so it is nesscarry if you want all achievements.

wow i played the game many times and never got upgraded weapons all the way didnt kno what power to the people machine i missed until now, sander cohen doesnt die next time through then...

Yes, very helpful. Only problem is, I can't seem to get the lucky winner achievement. I've tried SOOOOOO many times already and can't get it. Frustrating.

For lucky winner save before you play the slot machines and make sure you have about 150 dollars. You have about a one in six chance of winning twenty five dollars. Start playing, and if you run out of money load the save and do it again. Tok me 3 goes. My freind got it first time. Lucky.

nice i never managed, tried for 15 solid mins...i kept getting the 3 apples and the two $ and a clown so my money kept up but ran out eventually...will either go back to Fort Frolic later to re-try or just wait till i next re-play the game


got my 5th fully upgraded weapon today, missed a few PttP machines last time i needed..still have 2 i need to get tho for the Weapons Specialist achievement tho hope i can get them. Am also going for Research PhD and Historian this time, and maybe Tonic Collector not sure how many i already have

i got Lucky Winner today after 500 + dollars, had to re-load the save and try again and finally got it

i also got fully researched Bouncer, Research PhD and Weapons Specialist. Am right at the end at the elevator now and didnt get the Historian achievement so ive missed some AD's somewhere will have to go back before i complete it now

for Research PhD you have to fully research everything, including bots, turrets and cameras as well as the others that you get the achievements for. Once i had got the fully researched bouncer unlocked that gave me research phd as well as all i needed to do was the bouncer just keep taking pics of everything until it says at the top right Subject researched photo not taken then you know that you've fully researched that already

woohoo 50/50 today got the last 4 i needed

had missed like 4 diaries which luckily i found, had missed a tonic in the first gatherers garden, invented loads more stuff till i got Avid Inventor then could complete it to get the achievement for completing on hard


that just leaves Brass Balls which hopefully im able to get..

It is. But freaking Lucky Winner was HARD! It's like a real slot machine; you gotta hope you win. Lol. I played like $400 just to get it on 3 re-loads. But maybe you can help me how to get the damn fully researched ones. I need like 4 more of those. I keep taking pictures like crazy, but nothing.

How to get research PHD

Camera shots are based on these five princaples:

How centered is the subject in the photo?

How close up is the subject in the photo?

Are there multiple enemies in the photo?

Is the subject in the midst of performing an attack or signature move?

Is the subject dead?

To increase the research splice both photographers eye and photographers eye 2 for a 25% bonus in research. Splice natural camoflauge to take pictures of the object while it dosen't hit you. Zoom in on the targets, and always enrage them against each other. Freindly bots will not give you research. If there are three or more subjects in the photo you always get an A. Always repeat photos, if your camera film drops below 20 run to a circus of values machine and stock up. Even if you see an enemy you aren't going to attack take pictures! Hope this helps

I need Fully research Nitro, Fully research LS, Seriously good at this, PhD, and Brass Balls. I don't think I'll get seriously good at this and Brass Balls. It's too hard for me.

I'm at the end of Point Prometheus (going for SGAT) and I've gotten the Dealt With Every Little Sister achievement... but I've only got 70 Adam left at this point and I didn't fully research the Little Sisters. I wasted a lot of ADAM on plasmid upgrades, so I didn't buy all the slots and health/EVE upgrades.

So I assume that means I can't get the Research PhD or Maxed all Tracks achievements? (No way to photograph the LS or get more Adam)
