I would say that the whole game is slightly buggy and will allways be laggy and freezes will happen until they patch these bugs.

Hahaha. They don't do either. Americans and Europeans just don't have good connections to eachother. You can't blame either of them. If a European gets host when Americans are in a game, they will have an advantage on the Americans, and vice versa.

Every game I play on PS3 lags when I'm on a European server. It's just lag, we are not cheating. I do enjoy playing against other countries, and will suffer a bit of lag for it. I notice a good percentage of Americans have bad attitudes when playing online, whattayagonnado? My problem is, no one uses a mic in this game at all.

Americans are just 10X better at gaming.

Yeah because the game doesn't seem to make mics work properly, all I ever hear is stuttering voices when people try to use them. And I have no trouble with my high speed internet so it's not me. Others have said the same so I'm sure it's a common enough problem.

I too have noticed players with bad attitudes online, but haven't noticed in particular what country they were from.

From what I've noticed, the Japanese are usually better at gaming, followed by Americans, and then Europeans (with whatever may be in-between them).

OP, Americans don't cheat (unless you call EB > EG cheating), your connection is just bad. I can play against people from other countries just fine.

Your nationality has nothing to do with your gaming skill. And yes, it is a common issue with multiplayer games when you play with someone overseas the game lags. That is why the game tries to match you with gamers who are at least on the same continent as you. I have never played with Americans so far.

Well since no-one uses mics in MP, we don't have to listen to the idiots.

Since no one uses mics, I have idiots on my team 90% of the time that I can't communicate with.

If the Host is in the USA then anyone connecting from Europe will have a higher Ping. The same happens to me in reverse, sometimes the Host is in Europe but I don't mind the lag because its worth it to experience other cultures

Its all about the ping and GFWL supposedly will match you up with people of similar connections, but BS2 MP is nearly empty at times so you also just have to take what you can get sometimes

Haha, I'm sorry but if you think playing a game online with people from other countries is "experiencing their culture" then you're dead wrong.

Of course it doesn't, but generally speaking, the Japanese are usually the best. It isn't because they're Japanese, though, I know.

You of course mean the Koreans. The japanese are horrible gamers. They just make a LOT of games. They're the best because gaming is socially acceptable in their culture whereas if you game a LOT in the u.s. you're considered a loner or socially inept.

The Japanese aren't horrible. Have you seen the leaderboards for games released worldwide? The Japanese are usually some of the best out there. I never see any Koreans near the top of the leaderboards.

Japanese Otakus are the epitome of gamer, or so I've heard. When they're on FPSs, I imagine they're quite formidable.

Korans just have god-like connections because of the net investment their country had during the .com bubble; I don't know how much their actual skill/play levels are as a society.

    I ****ing LOL'd at this.

Gamers in Japan are NOT socially acceptable within the general population. Yeah, they might be among Otaku geeks and the like, but not with the MAJORITY of Japanese people.... That's a silly misconception weaboos have about Japan... that video game-loving, anime-loving geeks are worshiped and treated with respect in Japan. Hell no they are not. They are treated just as badly as the ones here in America and the rest of the world. Loners and socially inept. But that's also a stereotype... cause not all gamers are like that.

Anyway..... I think we Americans generally lag in games with people outside our country. Transatlantic gaming isn't that great, you know. But then again, I always lag in games with people from Mexico and they're our neighbors. :/

I don't know who's to blame though, honestly. It really depends on an individual's ISP (internet service provider for you non-geeks) and where it's located and the condition of the server.... I personally think mine is crappy so I'm sorry if you've lagged in my games. Verizon internet services sucks. I really liked Comcast but they were EXPENSIVE.

I don't actually think there's anywhere on earth that it's considered good to be a gamer from a macrosocietal perspective, is there?
