Personally I never had it in me to harvest the Little Sisters back in BioShock much less BioShock 2 were they look a little more like little girls. I saved every last one of them on the original and did so again on BioShock 2.
Never killed a Little Sister. Never have, never will.
Good ending > Bad ending
In Bioshock 1 the Little Sister's provoked no empathy from me so I harvested them all until I reached their little sanctuary. Afterwards I had a change of heart and saved them, yet still I was the offspring of Satan and Hitler.
Bioshock 2 however I couldn't bring myself to do it on the first play through, they were so much more like children and the fact they loved and trusted you made it even more unbearable a thought. On subsequent playthroughs I did harvest, but I felt like such a horrible person doing it.
This is from the guy who loves playing evil characters.
I saved ALL mine!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

I just don't like the idea "OF" harvesting them.....![]()

I killed half of them and saved half of them. Then I ended up making Eleanor evil. Bwaha, haha.
My first run I saved all of the little sisters. I've played through Bioshock 2 four times now, and I only harvested on one run for Brass Balls on hard.![]()
Little Bit Of This, Little Bit of That
I saved them...
I found the sisters in Bioshock to be more sympathetic, but killing children isn't something I enjoy.
I am on my evil playthrough now. It is a lot harder than the first one, with the LS screaming like they do, and the constant "you wouldn't hurt me"
So is killing Gil/Alex considered evil, or good since it his request..?
I say it's good, in his audio diaries he knew what he would become and he didn't want that. Despite the spliced Alex the Great's cries for mercy, I thought it was more merciful to carry out Gil's last request and destroy the monster he became, aside from when I played through for the good ending, I always kill Gil.
The Little Sisters of BioShock improved greatly between BioShock and BioShock 2 having more interactions, looking more like little girls, and being in art direction a little less inhuman. They're only likely going to continue to look more and more like real little girls. I can't get myself to harvest them now, but by BioShock 3 set for release two or three years from now close to the release of next gen consoles in all likely hood the improvement is going to be equal to the improvement between Little Sisters in BioShock and BioShock 2.
I have never harvested a Little Sister, and dont plan to.
That being said, on my first play through I spared everyone. Im currently playing through again and now Im killing everyone, just because![]()
On my first play through I was the savior, but on the second play through I was a merciless killer. It was real interesting seeing how different Eleanor Lamb ended up turning out.
Unfortunately, the game takes killing Gil as an evil act. You have to think about it through the eyes of a little girl. No matter what the person did, or what they wanted, you should never kill. Eleanor doesn't have much of a concept of gray, and tends to think in mainly black and white. Killing is wrong, therefore, don't kill Gil, Poole, or Grace.
Saviour...never killed anyone 'cept Alex the Great (mercy kill)
is the mercilless killer a trophy?
I was the Saviour of Rapture , I spared all and saved all sisters , their happines was my reward .
I can't seem to bring myself to kill the Ls's or the special characters.
I SWEAR I only harvested one and it was because I was under attack while putting her in her hidey hole and I hit the wrong button. I was doing so well, too. I'm just now getting time to run through again.
I saved all the Little Sisters, spared Grace, killed Stanley and Gil.
i felt i would be nice and saved them every time
I was, am and probably always will be a goodie-goodie.
A question on this subject. Anyone else worried that B3 will follow the good ending just as B2 did? Not that I mind, as I loved the good ending and think it was the richest available. What I'm saying is, will it diminish the validity of the more sinister choices in future games? What's the value (other than evil fun) of making darker choices if the canon is built around positive ones?
I'm just interested to hear what you all think.
first time through I was a saint, second time through I had to go for the evil ending, but I shall never harm a hair on a little sisters head again, unless I want bigger and better plasmids lol but they are hard to harvest especially in bioshock 2.
For me harvesting a LS is about as hard as picking the head of a dandelion.
As for the bad ending, I don't see how you could build another game around it really. I mean in the end Lamb-dead, You-dead, everyone else-dead. The only one that lived was Eleanor and she is now an evil, selfish monster. I just don't see how a story line could be wrapped around that. Idk.
BioShock 2 merely stated that Tenenbaum got a group of Little Sisters out Jack is left ambiguous. Much the same will happen in that yes more than likely it will mirror the good ending, but Delta will be left ambiguous. Other than that the darker choices are for the most part likely only going to be for fun.
Look at my avatar , tell me if you could harvest her .
BioShock Little Sisters looked slightly more inhuman and I'll admit even I harvested one though I reloaded the game undoing the harvested because it creeped me out. BioShock 2 Little Sisters look less inhuman and appear more like real little girls making pushing the button a little harder.
I did 3 different endings.
First time, i was the good daddy. Me so happy with all the little sisters, me have fun time.
Second time, i was BAD DADDY! Me loooovvveeee killing little sisters, me have fun time.
Third time, i was the overall good, but sinful daddy. me feel bad for killing little sisters, me sacrifice myself.
But in all seriousness, i loved every ending, and i loved the feeling of being able to choose your own path.
Im trying to under stand how the middle/other happy ending is happy. Its just plain sad.
What happens to you at the end?
Do you die or live? (good ending)
What happens to Delta at the end of the good ending really depends of your point of view. Technically Delta dies at all endings. In the good ending depending on your view Delta either becomes like a book in Eleanor's mind for her to look back own when she needs moral guidance, merges with Eleanor's own consciousness, or Delta's consciousness exists in Eleanor's body with her own.
Both really, first play through i saved all the little sis second play through harvested them all. I don't have a problem harvesting them (it is after all only a game). Well the first one and when i got up to Eleanor made me feel bad for a few seconds but apart from that it was fun mwhahahahaha!! (yes yes im going to hell, i know)

So let's see if you can help me: i completed for the first time the game, i saved all LS,and only killed Gil (thinking it was something good,by the way..) i got the ending where you die at the end and Eleanor extracts adam from you.Pretty good ending,i never expect Delta to live out of Rapture. I'm starting my second play and i'm thinking about what to do.I want to get another ending, but i don't want to harvest any LS.What can i do? maybe forgive all three(Gil,Grace and Stanley)? and what if i kill all of them?
