Well this is how I get around it. Change the resolution to whatever you want. Then also turn on window mode. Click apply and it'll change and accept the settings. Then turn window mode off and it should be good.

I have a similar problem only I can't hit 'apply' to put the changes into effect. If I try to tweak any graphics settings the game crashes to the desktop as soon as I click 'apply' to return to the main menu. Pretty horrid. Somebody ☺☺☺☺ed up big time here. Shame 'cause the game looks to be pretty ri'goddamn'diculously amazing. Oh well. Waitin' for a patch.

Anytime I click "apply" after adjusting settings (window mode, vertical sync, resolution) it crashes

Yeah dude, some time last night I started a separate thread on this issue to see if anyone else was getting the same crash problem when clickin apply. Glad to see I'm not just the only one and going ☺☺☺☺ing nuts. Well, I probably still am but at least i can say I def know what you're going through with this. Good luck.

For all those having these problems:

    - resolution slider not showing higher/lower resolutions
    - resetting to certain resolution every time the game is launched

check if you have a video connection to an external device such as TV and try disconnecting it, then restart the PC and launch the game.

I had the same problem while having extended/cloned display to a TV.
The above fixed it for me.

    Good luck!
