    Deco Devolution misprint?

I bought the special edition of Bioshock 2 and as I was looking through the Deco Devolution art book, I noticed that Chapter 5 "Environments" was actually printed twice in my copy. The entire chapter was repeated in my book. I was wondering if anyone else had this misprint in their copy? Or maybe my book has a unique mistake, which would be pretty sick?

    Yeah, I think that's unique.

I know that the book has at least one error found in every copy.
    Original thread.

There are actually three errors that I've caught - one image, one caption, and a typo. Environments isn't printed twice widely (we would have caught that for sure!) so you might have a unique one that got a section put in twice.

Books often have typos, but given the amount of editing I put into it, sometimes thinking about it makes me twitchy.

I found the one in the original thread, then two other places both on page 39, again the "before" pictures are really two "after" pictures. Also there are some captions that do not meet up with pictures, but I have not found a typo yet.

That's going to make the book exponentially more valuable. Hold on to it. You never know what value it may bring down the road.

I've been avoiding the artbook, having not finished SP yet, but I looked at these since they were MP, and all I can say is, "yikes!" And on Blanche's "before" pic, there's a faded pic there too. It's too bad we're missing the nice art that would have been there!

Overall it looks fantastic though, I really can't wait to sit down and go through the whole thing.

I wonder. Does it make the book for rare if it has a misprint or does it make it less rare??

Probably would be good to know if someone ever decides to sell their book.

It is already rare by definition. It's value is dependant on the market and the fans that may dictate a higher price for these printing error copies. I would guess that it will defeinitely have a higher value, but as for how much, it's anyone's gues.

So i found some errors in my book but nothing major.

Page 39, Before and After of Blache, they are the same picture but on the before you can see a faded picture of the true non spliced Blache behind the copy.

Page 42, Before and After of the prisoner, they are the same picture.

Page 46 and 47: The big daddy with the artillery on his back is on the bottom of page 46 and on the top left on page 47. Nothing major, only difference is that the one on 47 is larger. IDK if it was surpose to be like that but its fine.

Page 46, 47, 48: The big daddy with the print of a women on his oversized hand shield thing is on all those pages. Nothing big.

So are the only ones i have found in my book. Nothing big, i still like the art book anyway
