When is the DLC including narrative-exanding single player coming?

I was just wondering if 2K was going to release a DLC schedule for us. I am not sure if that is the norm, to release a schedule, but I am personally very excited for the "narrative-exanding single player content that delves deeper into the lore of Rapture and its inhabitants." (source of quote: Kotaku; link to article)

I understand that 2K has "an 'aggressive post-launch downloadable content plan' for BioShock 2" (Ibid) and I would love to have access to a few more details regarding that plan.

Anyone else curious? If you are anything like me, you may have to pick and choose your downloads, and I want to be sure that I have the points for what I really want.

First DLC is the level cap increase for MP to 50.

There has not been a specific date for the SP DLC. I'm guessing the SP DLC would be around 800 microsoft points (for Xbox) which would be what...like $10?

So plan accordingly based on your budget I guess.

I would be interested to know what the SP DLC entails. There have been essentially no details.

Because there were many interviews even just before the game's release with statements like "You won't see it coming." and "There are definitely some things that I guarantee are going to surprise players..." and those claims did not hold true for anyone. There's no way the entire community is too stupid that it's right under our noses and just didn't "get it." So I figure it must be in the DLC. Also have you noticed how Jordan Thomas and the Devs log on but have completely stopped answering people's questions? We're all probably hitting close to a nerve they can't respond on because it would ruin their big plans.

i know that BS2 seemed poor when put together the first game, are u talking about new monsters, new SP narrative using the flashback and stuff... like huge "fallout 3" way

I think the game-play was improved, the decor does not disappoint, the story is deep and thought provoking(compared to most games), but the story just wasn't anything "Amazing." And I really wouldn't care but the developers made some very bold claims and now I feel lied to. I kept up with all of the news and I'm a hardcore fan, even bought the special edition and listened to the LP with friends like a total geek. However, if there is any way for 2K to redeem themselves, it is in the form of this SP DLC. I have faith that it is within their power, and I hope it happens.

I could tell you what I would have changed or where I think the story fell apart, but I don't think that is important right now. 2K needs to pull something amazing out of that old top hat, and I can't wait to give them that opportunity.

I thought that it was weird that Delta died! I got the goody two shoes ending... and I watched as Eleanor basically killed me and kept my thoughts/memory with her... so I've been trapped inside this body and suit against my will and I help out my little sis and she thinks we are even now because she will keep my thoughts with her... wha????

Seriously guys... this is a thread about when the upcoming DLC will be released. If there's nothing further to be said about the unknown date then don't say anything all. Talking about your opinion of the story of BS2 is irrelevant.

On that note, I would have loved for this MP DLC and SP DLC to be bundled together or atleast released at the same time. Some people don't care about the multiplayer (I am not among them) and just want more single player action. Hopefully the first SP DLC comes out some time next month as well or in April.

It was relevant to the DLC, don't get your panties in a twist. At least we kept the thread higher up so someone at 2K might see it and give an answer. Jeeze... I think that threads often act like conversations and another point may arise and therefore discussion may digress a bit . That being said I do hope dates are announced soon.
