    bioshock 1 ending.

    I've got all the way through the game..(brilliiant game by the way),& am now an addict.
    I just can't kill him at the end.It's driving me nuts !!!!
    I stabbed him with the needle,chucked gas bottles at him,grenaded him...the works...but i'm stuck !
    Just been & bought bioshock 2,but am loathed to start the game till i finished bioshock 1.
    Any hints...??

    This will be a spoiler, so I'll tag it...

    - When you first leave the elevator and enter the area, you can actually take your time and look around and do some preparations. Nothing will happen until you start the fight. Hack or destroy the health station. Collect oil barrels and gas tubes and put them on the floor in front of him where he lands when he jumps down. Set trap wires and proximity mines in strategic places (for both him and the splicers that join later).
    - Make sure you have the right ammo and plasmids ready.
    - Since you have tried already, you'd have noticed that he goes through different phases. Have a plan for this and swap plasmid and weapon accordingly. Remember NOT to use the same elemental as he is using. When he's fire, use ice or electro, when he's electric, use fire, and so on. I think armor piercing ammo is better than anti-personal btw.
    - Dodge and run, dodge and run. Don't let him hit you or get near you. It's not that hard since he behaves a bit like a bouncer, running in straigh lines.

    Right...thanks for that...will have a bash now.
    I managed to get him back in the chair once earlier...i used plasmid ice & a couple of mines.3 more to go lol!!

    Try the checmical thrower. It does a marvelous job of stopping him in his tracks and obliterating his health at the same time.

    Its so frantic, and I found the "fire and forget" tools useful : the Insect Swarm plasmid to occupy the splicers and the homing grenades. Also, take note of his attack patterns, because his charges can be almost invited by you and then side stepped, rather than keeping constantly on the move.

    The Chemical Thrower.
    If you combine it with Elemental plasmids you'll get a nice battle :P
    Also it seems that the shotgun -at least for me- it's really useful, but the problem it's that you'll have to get really close.
